what's the prime Soul was the creator of the v1 or something and it was like he knew the v1 weaknesses so he would be like fighting them and using all these unique tactics and be very difficult for the player to fight against

Personally I'd be interested in Oedipus Prime. 1. He's a king from Greek mythology 2. He'd fit into Act 3: Killed his father (Violence against others + Treachery), married his mother (Violence against god/nature), and killed himself (Violence against oneself). 3. I like to think he'd be so mad at God for birthing him into such horrible circumstance that his rage alone would allow him to go Prime. 4. He would fit that theme of all Prime souls having their eyes covered in some way in their portraits (Tore his own eyes out) And 5. His blindness could lead to interesting gimmicks in his fight.

Maybe the best Colossal boss, but Minos will probably forever be my favorite (haven't fought against sisyphus yet, and p-3 hasn't yet been released)

i think the major objetive of v1 is to kill an earthmover, and he got ANOTHER major objective by defeating gabriel 2 times, he wants to kill gabriel as much as gabriel wants to kill him edit: also he beat a greater version of himself (v2)

The only game I can possibly think of using the idea of a collosal boss as a level itself is Grandia II. It's a whole ass location where we walk inside of Valmar (that is it's name).

I feel like this level, while incredible on its own, would have been even better if the body of the earthmover shifted just a bit as it dealt and received blows. Just another thing to remind you that you're scaling an active war machine.

Plot twist: he becomes a recurring enemy type like the swords machine and ferry man, and is even featured in the cyber grind.

I believe the coolest and most logical end would be to fight and kill the strongest being who would exist In hell. And just using our common sense.. that Is Satan or some version of a devil.

You're not a fan of biblical characters when the entire game Is based around biblical figures and lore?(Aka dantes Inferno) Thats makes absolutely no sense

Are you sure benjamin targets you at the start of the fight? It seems to very clearly throw it's lightning attack into the far distance at the other earthmover. I'm not sure if it's even capable of attacking something so close to it.

i had an idea similar to the jester. in my case, it were ninja-like machines with a chameleon type body armed with daggers that sould teleport behind v1. i imagine they would give like a green warning flash when behind v1. if they miss their backstab attack, they lose the ability to cloak.

I feel like Jesus could be a cool prime soul as he is the king of kings and had a lot of followers. He's not Greek which is the only issue.

I would love Adam and Eve Prime just because the idea of fighting two minos primes at once is fun as hell

Every robot was built to counter the last, which will explain the screaming that you hear from the earth mover, but it also explains the self-destruction that happens after you destroy the brain. My theory is when the creators of the Earth Mover found out about V1, they made it specifically so the only way for you to kill it is from the inside by destroying its brain, and once you destroy its brain it starts a self-destruction mechanism that locks you inside the earth mover, causing you and whatever inside to blow up with it.

My main reasoning for god being the prime soul is that sealing himself away in hell feels like the most likely place he went since the testament in 7-S implies he tried to kill himself but couldn't.

nah, Minos and Sisyphus is somewhat known characters in minds of masses but aside for Daedalus and Prometheus all other familiar only for fans of antique myths P-3 must be something heavily entangled with Hell itself as final part of the sequence of the: Minos -- salvation for people; Sisyphus -- war on Heaven; P-3 -- dominance of Hell. None of the mentioned candidates are not fitting unless you stretch idea of their characters to the limit. Thus my bet will be not on any greek or even more distant characters from christian origin. But the opposite, someone who got involved with Hell or it's personification, Devil. I can think of two such candidates, first is obvious and this is Dante from Divine Comedy. And the second one who got involved with Hell more intimately, my bet is FAUST PRIME

i think midas could be a cool candidate for prime soul if the sanctum is in treachery (alot of treacherers are those who kill their children, which is filicide, and midas kills his daughter in the original myth with the midas touch. that could also be linked maybe to a golden arm beingg the yellow arm and it not coming from gabriel.)

I don’t know why nobody has mentioned him before but I think Tantalus is the most likely to become a prime soul. Here are the reasons why: 1. Tantalus was a Greek king just like Minos and sysiphus. 2. He suffered from a heavy punishment and is confined in hell. 3. His sin embodies the last layers of hell violence, fraud and treachery. For those who don’t know his story he basically tried to challenge the mightiness of the gods (fraud) by feeding them with the flesh of his kin (violence and treachery). In the end he got caught and was made stand in a pool of water which would dry up when he tried to drink from it and below a tree with low branches with the fruit rotting from his grasp.

P-3 is obviously Hercules prime because of the Greek mythology theme, and the build-ups, Corpse of king Minos was the build-up to Minos prime, Sisyphean insurrectionist was the build-up to Sisyphus prime, and the Minotaur would be the build-up to Hercules prime. (please pin this I beg you)

I think it might be Dionysus since layer 8 is gonna be fraud, and the definition of fraud is "to deceive someone" and Dionysus is the God of wine, and wine makes you drunk and do dumb crap. I feel like it'd fit well since he's a Greek king/God

Glad I wasn’t the only person thinking about it similarly I genuinely thought it was gonna be Gabriel in p3 but when I started thinking about the bosses we got so far Prometheus is just right there with his love of humanity and being uniquely punished by the gods/council

jesus prime is awesome but personally i think that prometheus would be awesome as being a famous greek figure who cared a whole lot about humanity (just like king minos) and was eternal tortured by the gods (just like king sisyphus) lines up with said prime souls

Considering the first two souls. Ranked by difficulty it goes Minos to Sisyphus. Minos: A minor king, his main feat was trapping daedalus and icarus in a tower. Sisyphus: A king, his main feat was trapping the god of death Thanatos in a box. I think their strength is based on their punishment in hell, Minos' punishment by the gods was having his wife fall in love with a cow, while Sisyphus' punishment was more severe (pushing a boulder up a hill over and over again). Minos freed sinners from their punishments by god, a crime which had him killed. Sisyphus waged war against heaven, a crime which had him tortured and then killed. This is why I believe that the 3rd and final Prime Soul will probably be someone with a horrible punishment and a horrible crime against god. Here are my guesses, from most likely to somewhat likely King Erysichthon: He was a king, his crime was destroying Demeter's grove and one of Demeter's most beloved Dryads. His punishment was insatiable hunger. No matter how much he ate he was always hungry, and the more he ate the hungrier he became. This goes on and on until he's spent all of his money on food, leaving his kingdom in shambles, until he eventually eats himself. Prometheus: His punishment was being strapped to a boulder and having birds eat out his organs while he regenerates. Although he wasn't a king, he still had a horrible punishment. His punishment was due to him stealing fire from the gods and giving it to the humans he sculpted. He is placed 2nd due to the fact that the third Prime Soul being a king is not confirmed. King Midas: Another king, but highly unlikely, he helped Dionysus (the reason he had the Golden Touch), and his only punishment was growing donkey ears after saying that Pan plays better than Apollo. He's the most well known king that isn't a god, but he has no reason to be in hell.

One character deserves to be the final boss, Atlas. At the end of Dantes inferno, dante meets Satan himself and then proceeds to go to purgatory, then heaven. Since hakita said that we would not be meeting Satan or God in ultrakill, then there is a good chance after gabriel, v1 would venture to purgatory and find no flesh prison, no attacks simply somber music as v1 finds atlas, Holding up the heavens. Upon meeting him he realizes that there is no one keeping him there any longer, he tosses the heavens up into the air and begins fighting v1 for... whatever reason, killing minos and sysiphus, slaying gabriel, possibly even seeing hell itself, watching through v1. Upon his death, however, he begins to form into a prime soul, his body blowing apart as the final fight begins. The heavens crashing down around v1 and atlas as they fight. And Upon defeat there is no exit door. Instead, the gate to heaven comes crashing down somewhere in the arena with a terminal not far behind it. The gates slowly open as the last of gods testament, and you jump down back into hell. It's a bit of a stretch but making a cool bossfight either way
