I’ve always hated duels that were mostly curses or charms. You have the power to mold the world around you, and you stick to quick shots that can be blocked easily. Albus fighting credence was probably the best example of this so far, truly using the world at his fingertips.
Another reason why Voldemort is a better villain, because he didn't limit himself to any type of magic, he experimented and invented very dangerous spells.
