The class of 2016 hopes to have started a new tradition at Hilo High School where the girls play flag football and the guys have a male cheerleading competition. The senior male cheerleaders consists of Joshua Breitbarth, Seage Kalani, Kinohi Betts, and David Pakele. We hope you enjoy their very "extreme" dance!

The Hilo High School class of 2016 seniors perform their class competition dance. Because of the theme, their melody consists of popular 60's and the best of the modern day era music. Enjoy this phenomenal and incomparable class dance!

The Hilo High School's May Day court graces the audience with their hula, Mālama Mau Hawaiʻi, which was also the theme of this year's May Day. It speaks of how we need to care and love our home, here in Hawaiʻi...A BIG mahalo to Kumu ʻAwapuhi, Drew Fernandez and their crew for putting on this amazing and unforgettable event.

This video includes the kāne of that court, as tradition, each represents an island. The mele they dance to is "Pūnana Ka Manu." It is a mele maʻi which means a procreation chant. Listen, watch and enjoy the kāne of this year's Mayday!

Hilo High School's Class of 2016 shocks the crowd with a surprise dance. This dance was choreographed and taught by Kaimana Kawaha, Joshua Breitbarth, Ashleigh Kahawaiola'a-Daffron, Alissa Makuakane-Miyashiro, and Ma'alahi Remmers. This is an example of the dance we will be doing at our commencement exercise. Please follow the video exactly as is. The dance committee has recorded it backwards so it will be easier for you to learn. So if you follow this dance , as you face the screen, you will be doing it correctly.

The Hilo High School's Boys Varsity and JV team up with the Girls Varsity as they performed a dance for homecoming 2015-2016. This routine was taught and practiced to the teams three days before the performance.

This video shows a glimpse things we've done on Saturday the 12th of September during our senior class service project. The senior class council has planned this service project with the special olympics east hawaiʻi during their basketball season.
