The students really light up in the gym. Even the teachers have been surprised and amazed by what the kids can do. Many make a beeline for the machines. I've witnessed a young girl row continously for 25mins! That takes stamina. And another do 20kg leg presses. The down syndrome boys do standard pushups to put regular boys to shame. Treat them as able and they will surpass expectations. For true integration we must include them in all aspects of life. Bespoke Fitness looks forward to providing them with real work experience - stay tuned for Assistant Coaches who can do more pushups than you!

Am going to bring my mom to watch thiss!!! omg I've always been mesmerized by Mr Lee Kuan Yew and what a genius of a man he was, I wish to be able to watch his story live, not just from books and old history clips. And of course, in my first year as a Singaporean, what a way to celebrate that than by learning about Singapore's history through theatre which is finally back in full swing!!

i've always wanted to watch the LKY musical as since young i've always been interested in the history of Singapore and how far we have come till today. I've always been a huge fan of local productions and it'll mean alot if i get the chance to be able to catch this musical. I would want to bring my boyfriend along with me to catch this musical as he also has the same interests as me and i want to surprise him with these tickets if i won!!

Everywhere I go in Singapore, I hear or see pictures of Mr Lee Kuan Yew. My friends here say Singapore is the great nation it is today because of this fine, visionary gentleman. I would love to watch this musical with my wife so that we can get a glimpse into the life of the great Mr Lee and gain a better understanding of why Singaporeans and beyond love and respect him so much.

i took part in this year’s ndp as a performer. to hear how things are slowly but surely returning to normalcy, with full crowds at the float & now, musicals in such a grant yet cosy scale, is such a heartening feeling! especially after what we went through as a nation together the past years. at the same time, i do wonder what our forefathers, especially LKY, had to go through and sacrifice for not just two, but many years of his live to bring singapore to where it is today, 57 years later. i’ve also always been a museum junkie, especially our own history museums. but this time, i would really hope to watch, listen and feel the things that i have viewed artefacts and read up about. i’m sure there’s also lots more beneath of the surface of LKY that i hope to uncover and experience in this musical if given a chance. on the side, i find it really inspiring that adrian pang who was ndp22 creative director is also playing the lead role. that’s many hats to be wearing and ndp was just last month!! he spoke to my act numerous times and i was deeply encouraged when he shared about his personal victories of rising back up from his struggles. as for my date, i would love to bring a new friend that i made during ndp! we bonded over love for music and musicals during our months of practice. with her being a ward nurse, i believe she deserves a good break and a pamper! :) as the chinese proverb goes three minutes on stage is ten years backstage, l would love to support the largest local musical production in over 2 years!

1. I've always really loved musicals and would make it a point to catch one whenever I can. Haven't managed to watch any local ones yet (unless we count the pangdemonium ones that were livestreamed online, those were amazing!!) and I really hope to have the chance to catch one in real life soon. Especially excited to catch this one since it sounds like a really interesting way to learn about SG's history which I've only managed to read about during social studies 😂 2. I just watched the LKY musical today and I loved it amazing job to the cast

As someone who became a Singapore citizen later in life, I've always held Mr Lee Kuan Yew in high esteem. I've been fortunate enough to experience and enjoy the fruits of his labour. But I've always felt there's a side to Mr Lee that I've never known, the story of Mr Lee from his younger days. This is why I want to watch the musical with my daughter as I want to get a better understanding of this man I admire so much, I also want my daughter to learn about Mr Lee and his life, struggles and triumphs.

I’ve always been interested in our Singapore history and would love to get the chance to watch this musical given that I wasn’t born yet when all the happenings took place! Would love to see how the Singapore history in our textbooks and books come to life in the form of a theatre/musical show! I would like to bring my partner along to watch this together! It’ll be out first Theatre/musical show! :)

Musicals helped me alot through my lowest moments of my life, coming to SG alone during secondary school was definitely not easy. I’ve always found comfort in musicals since I watched my first one in 2016, every year I watch at least 1 musical with my friends and it is something that keeps me going as there’s sth to look forward to. It will mean alot if I can watch the LKY musical as I am interested to learn more about Singapore (and that I’m a relatively new citizen) . I have learned so much and also gained so much in SG and I want to know more about one of the founding fathers. This will be my time watching a local production and I am SO excited :) If I get to go to this this musical, it will be my first one in a long long time (boo covid :(( ) and I will bring my bestfriend along with me, whom I met because of our love for musicals!

No matter how many times I visit Singapore, it always amazes me. It's such an incredible city and my friends tell me that modern day Singapore is the result of Lee Kuan Yew's vision and perseverance. This is why I want to watch the musical with my husband as it would allow us a glimpse into this extraordinary man's life.
