😊 Happy Easter SML. I have been away quite a bit since 15 December helping a friend in Devon with her elderly mum. Who eventually passed in February. So it's been great to connect with all on line. So I am with Louise in Hove to celebrate her first Easter without her mum 🎉 pray. But great to watch the SML Service on line. Thank you 😊

Dear Leah, I want to thank you for this message. I needed this message. I have listened to it about five times so far. I began to write notes on my last listen. It is genius how you spoke. You are a phenomenal communicator. You start with saying “Are you sure about yourself?” You then proceed to say that you’re not sure about yourself. Wow! I love your honesty. It made me want to listen to you. I too have been going through a season of self doubt. In fact, this has been the story of my life. I thought coming a Christian would change things. However, I am still plaqued with self doubt. What you shared has made me realise the reason. The reason for my self doubt was that my eyes were on myself instead of Jesus. I was judging myself based on my own performance. You ended your talk with stating it is okay to be not sure of yourself. That the purpose of your talk was to be sure about Jesus. I am now more sure about Jesus. This is my story, this is my song, praising my saviour all the day long.

It's a shame there's no sound 😕again!

When I was growing up in the 60s and 70s, we were never taught any of this in Schools. It was my parents, specifically my Mum, who taught us to NEVER drop litter. It was drummed into me so that, even in my rebellious teens, I still couldn't drop a piece of litter! Also, I well remember my Mum always taking her own bags when shopping. Unfortunately that was something that I chose not to do. Supermarket bags were freely available, so it was only in recent years that I felt convicted of this wastage, as an exposing light was being shined on it and happily started taking my own bags. It became mainstream AND made sense! :-) However, I would just add, some of the youth of today may well be concerned about the state of our planet, but I am not seeing that out and about, particularly at lunch-time in beautiful Poole Park, when the College Students have finished their break. The huge amount of litter is testament, perhaps, to the fact that it is the parents, who need to be instilling these regimens into their children's lives when young and impressionable, rather than teachers later on? We live in a "throw-away Society", tragically and legalised abortion being, in Gods sight, the worst kind of wastage any Society can possibly engage in. Until we stop killing our unborn, supposedly unwanted, babies in the womb, as so much garbage for the incinerator, climate change alarmism pales into insignificance to God.
