With a couple exceptions between 1930s and 1990s western side of the CT was solidly Republican and eastern side was more Democratic.Now, it's the exact opposite in 2024 with Trump. Reminds me of 1870s election maps. Democrats ditched their socially conservative but fiscally populist New Deal demographic in the state but also gained wealthy fiscally conservative but socially globalist demographic of the GOP in the western CT with 2010s.
