This delightful garden was built during the reign of Shah Abbas I. At the beginning of the construction of this garden, Shah Abbas ordered the planting of 28 pine trees. The trees that have lived since then have turned an empty and dirt land into a popular and spectacular tourist and pilgrimage site that hosts many guests every year in different seasons.
Qadamgah literally means a place to step. Throughout history, great respect is given to the place where the elders have set foot, and those places are called Qadampah. In the meantime, great religious figures were not exempted from this rule, and for this reason, in the Islamic religion, there are various places where the prophets of Bani Israel, the Holy Prophet, and the noble imams have stepped, and therefore they have become a holy place. Have. The Neishabor Walkway is also considered one of these religious walkways, and for this reason, it has become one of the must-see places in the city of Neishabor, and many people travel to Neishabor every year to visit this place.
In one of the most common narrations, it is said that in the year 200 AH, when Imam Reza (a.s.) was traveling from the city of Medina to the city of Merv, they stopped at this point. In this place, they laid their hands on the ground with the intention of my team, and at the same time, water boiled from the ground, and the spring that is now bubbling in the Gadhamgah garden is a relic of that era. In other words, the presence of a hard stone with footprints engraved on it, as well as the presence of a water spring, has made the Neishabur footpath have a pilgrimage value in addition to its tourist value.
At present, the historical city of Neishabur has preserved the dearest elders of Iran, namely Atar Neishaburi and Khayyam, and besides the tombs of the elders, it has several other tourist attractions, and Gadhamgah Garden is one of the many.
One of the souvenirs of this area is turquoise stone.
The turquoise that comes from Neishabur mines is called. Its primary mine is located in the village of Madan Alia, the central part of Firuzeh city; With a reserve of 9 thousand tons and an annual production capacity of 19 tons. Neyshabur turquoise mine is one of the oldest in the world, where the turquoise stone has been extracted since 2000 years ago.
The natural-historical samples of Neyshabur turquoise are kept in the London, and Tehran Geology Museums.
