Not all heroes wear capes- my cat, Frankie, and I think you are a hero. He loves your bird videos. This morning, he even sat in front of the TV, staring up at the black screen, clearing waiting for it to be playing. Thank you for making him entertaining videos that he enjoys.

I just played this for one of my cats. He kept getting closer and closer. At first he thought the birds were flying somewhere out of the computer, and would look around to see where they went. He almost attacked when he saw the squirrel.

I don't know the cats but my bird really loved it. She tried to fly to the screen but failed (of course) but still tried to talk to and touch them

My cat Cyrus was just interested in a moth flying around in my house and when she lost it I decided to look up videos that cats like to watch. She was intently watching this video for 5.5 minutes until she found the moth again. :) awesome

We just got our cat Tupac a week ago and he freaks out clawing at the door and carpet when my boyfriend leaves to work 5 days a week. The second he hears these bird chirps he comes and sits in front of the tv and is entranced, he calms down instantaneously like MAGIC. I will admit he has attacked/swatted the tv a couple times but he’s learning there’s nothing to attack after that I think. Thank you SO MUCH I was going crazy feeling so sorry for my cat and how much he misses my boyfriend when he’s gone. I miss him too. Makes my heart happy to sit and smile and watch him be so content with these birds

I so miss the English countryside! Listening to our beautiful bird songs, something relaxing and peaceful about them. I live in Australia now, we have fabulous birds here too, but nothing compares to this. I miss listening to the haunting sounds of owls at night!

On days when my health won't let me keep up with my cats play needs these videos come in handy. I can have a rest while they stay stimulated and out of trouble.

Our infant loves to watch this, and especially gets excited when the squirrel or black bird show up. Peaceful, not overly stimulating, one constant camera perspective makes it like looking out of a window of our house into the backyard. And he icing on the cake: no ads! Thank you for blessing us in this way.

your European starling at the start of your video is a breeding female (with its pink-tipped bill). The breeding male would have had a blue-tipped bill. These are great field marks to check for during this time of the year (about January to early August). Non-breeding European starlings do not have any yellow bills, but a greyish bill instead and more silvery-tipped glossy black feathers all over its body. :)

I have experimented with several cat tv channels and birder king is by far the one my cats like best. All I have to do is turn in the TV to have two cats suddenly appear, pointing at it like they’re hunting dogs. (I end up letting them have ten minutes of birder king before watching my own show.) I wish I could post photos of them batting at the screen….

My kitty cat loves your vids and I watched the rest of this one with him. The pretty blue, black and white bird with the grayish purple crown at the end was stunning...and then LOL it pooped in the food as a finale (a way of marking its territory perhaps?)
