Heya Mr CH, yeah from what i have heard they are a reseller, they contact factories and add their brand to it. If the mast had the protractor, you could cut some primitive looking stones. There's a kit you can get online (from Turtle Hoards i think) that makes it a lot more usable as a faceting machine. It has however been a rock solid flat lap that i have cut hundreds of cabs on ✌️😎✌️

@@offyarocka Thank you for the info, and do you have a way to determine how much if any wobble the platter has? My thought is to get that kind of precision you need some mass and real good support, so it runs true.

Not that I am aware of, it can be difficult to cut having a conglomerate make up of different hardness material. Good question i'll try and find out about that🤔🤔🤔

For sure, definitely makes cutting them a whole heap easier too when the colour pops like that. This parcel is going to be a lot of fun to cut 😍😍😍

some of my favorites are where the potch makes the curled, c-like figures in the host. even if the potch lacks color is still makes a stunning visual contrast with the host rock.

Hiya Jeff, Yowah Opal is fastly becoming my favourite opal for all the same reasons. The patterns and the colour is just other worldly, sooo cool. So this isnt a plug, but kind of is as well, when you do the maths on the dollar exchange rate ($1 aussie gets 0.62c US) shipping isn't to bad. Then factor in you are buying at Aussie rates, so that jar cost me $60 AU which is $37.2 US. Now here's the kicker, there's at least 2 stones in there i could get my money back on with even working....The guys i get it from are friggen awesome, next time they do a live sale i'll put it up on Discord 😜😜😜
