Yes, that can be a common problem, Jin in Ghost of Tsushima is especially bad for that. It can help when the photo mode includes facial expressions, though it's the ability to change the character's gaze direction that is really needed. Glad you found and like the channel, thanks for the comment😊👍

Ah yes, I forget that the original PS4 version doesn't have all of the photo mode options. You'll need Spider-Man Remastered, Spider-Man Miles Morales, or Spider-Man 2 to have the custom lighting in the photo mode. Sorry for any confusion

@TheFourthFocus Oh this is sad and I also found out if I want lighting options I have to upgrade to the PS5 version for $15 and I don't have a single dollar it's sad honestly

Yes, they definitely seem to have put a lot of effort into it. The only major unknown is the camera range & movement but I'd be surprised if they got that wrong

That's a good point actually, I completely assumed it was a free update but I don't think that's been said anywhere yet and it is just the photo mode update that is confirmed to be free for all players

Photo mode is mostly about the composition of your own original shots and not just screenshotting the game 😉

The game looks good, it's just the photo mode that is a bit too simplistic. A bit less camera collision and an added zoom function, and it would be a lot better 😎👍

That's a perpetual problem with HDR and screenshots to be honest, but some games do seem to convert better / worse than other as it all depends on how they execute the HDR. It's frustrating that there is still no universally compatible standard for HDR image files

You just need to press "Hide Interface" and then take a screenshot of the clean image. The buttons will vary by platform but on PS5 for example, that is Triangle to hide the UI and the Create button to screenshot👍

@@TheWorldsOfGaming I was a bit concerned that it might be a generic Ubisoft open world in Star Wars clothes but that's not the case and it feels very different. My main criticism is too much stealth & sneaking, but the criminal underworld is really excellent

The game has 21:9 and 16:9 options and the photo mode will be in whichever aspect ratio you play in. The lack of custom lights is a shame of course, but this is easily superior to the GoW Ragnarök photo mode😉

Yes, I agree and that would have taken this up another level. Lighting is such an important part of photography and having that level of control with custom lights totally changes what you can do

It's really good, I think you'll have a lot of fun. My worry was that it would be Far Cry in a Star Wars suit but that's not the case at all👌

Thanks for the feedback. In the rush to get this done in quicktime, I forgot to even look into how to upload it as native 21:9 UA-cam content. You should at least be able to pinch and zoom to fill the screen on a mobile device👍

It is a good idea but needs better implementation than as this one just ends up being more annoying because it's always turning back on
