Sorry to hear about Benji, hopefully on the mend to enjoy your van adventures, loving the Storky update, just a thought that if you cut the middle section down you could use it as a table top, there are table legs that you can buy with the adapters that bolt into the floor and the bottom of the table with a removable leg search ‘Fiamma table leg’ also the shorter piece that you cut off can add an extra worktop space at the rear of the van if you wanted to have a portable stove for cooking on. It could also be used to form a U shape seating area. With the middle section cut smaller you could also add brackets to the back doors to store safety when not in use. Also with the diesel heater, you could have it connected to the fuel tank on the van to save space having somewhere to store the tank inside, and no chance of spilling it where refilling

You could always turn the varnished side over so the side you don't like is underneath and back to the original wood colour on the top.

Hey, Your videos are great, Van is coming along nicely. One comment. The Dartmoor National Park ask people not to go into Wistmans wood. The mosses and lichens on the boulders and trees are many hundreds of years old and some trees could be as much older. This environment is being damaged by too many people entering and walking over the ground. The signs don’t make it very clear. Whenever I am there would do my lectures and produced by Videos on Dartmoor I’ll try and remind people how important it is to protect this environment sorry to sound like that of a boring party pooper. But it’s important to protect it so many more people can join it for many more years to come. Keep up the good work with the van and I look forward to the next video.

You said the ponies on Dartmoor don't need rescuing but did you know the wild horses on Dartmoor which are ponies and horses that have been abandoned by humans are rounded up once a year and shipped off to be slaughtered. It's awful and also the right to roam needs protecting as Dartmoor is the only place you can wild camp in England.

I went to that wood while back in the summer and got attacked by flies mosquitos and christ only knows what, i had to leg it out . Other than that its an amazing wood especially when the breeze whistles through the trees 🌳 🙂
