Enjoyed the walking tour. It would be quite interesting to know why schools were built on this Hallowed Ground and especially very close to the mass grave of the soldiers. Continue to preserve and interpret this important battle of the War for American Independence.

What does all that gear weigh minus the rifle and knife?

I feel illogically uneasy watching a man in SS camouflage operating an M1A1 folding stock carbine.

This was my grandpas prefered rifle in Vietnam, stationed 1968

My great grandpa on my dads side was a paratrooper in ww2. I reckon he may have jumped out of a plane with a rifle just like that one there

Something that we were taught in one of my military schools was that if you use camouflage on your face, don't forget to camouflage the back of your head! They showed us pics of guys with corked faces, but lily white back of their necks sticking out like the proverbial sore thumb!

Thank you for posting this video! Do you know which reenactment group at that event did this medical demonstration/had the medical tent? I saw them in passing while there but didn’t think to ask who/what group they were with!
