August Garden - southern Finland style!
Welcome back to Vanha Talo Suomi - A harrowing journey of home improvement & garden renovation
It's been a quite dry start to August for our garden. Rain is forecast to arrive tomorrow in great quantity, let's see if that actually happens!
Despite being a bit on the dry side, lots of blooms and lovely flowers are everywhere. Birds, bees, and all sorts of insects are enjoying the warm and sunny weather.

Some much-needed rain soaked the garden all morning. After the rain stopped, the bees and butterflies came out for lunch! Among their favorites are flowering Nepeta and Salvia.
