She was overwhelmed by emotions. "Induced" emotions. It is something some people seem to be able to influence in a nearly supernatural way. Cult leaders specificly. I experienced something about 8 years ago that still have some effects on my life. There is some crazy stuff going on. Those people pray on vulnerable people and use them in a way that seems the target would do something really good... and loving. In my case there had been attempts to connect that goodness to sex in a super super weird even aggressive way. After 8 years i still try to find someone to talk to who i can trust. But it seems that crap is way bigger. I am thinking about making some statement about DrDisrespect. I am very sure that he also got played... by "similar interests"... maybe he got weak and cheated on his wife... but believe me... he didnt got canceled bacause he is a "psycho" or a bad guy. He crying about cheating his wife proves already that he isnt a psycho. I bet my life that he was trapped. In a way Allison Mack was tricked. Emotions, thoughts, opportunities, smokebombs, deception...

I just started watching, what seems incredibly dangerous at the beginning is the lectures given by the lady in the video seem like legit psychology. The first red flag in my case would have been the ranking system with the color silk things (forgot the name) but by then everybody had already been groomed into even coveting them. I believe this is something that people should start been warned about maybe in high school, like a small workshop about how these people operate and how not to get lured i to this kind of thing. Great documentary by the way!

She is so CLEARLY vulnerable here. Actors typically are very sensitive people who went into acting because they feel this need for VALIDATION of self through the approval of others. She had no IDEA what she was walking into, and was so hungry, so STARVED, for a feeling of validation that doesn't just come from being o TV and acting - putting on a mask, so to speak, just to be liked - that she was IMMEDIATELY receptive to his every word. You or I can see this guy and hear his words and he just sounds like some stupid hippy who thinks he sounds more profound than he is, but keep in mind the above. She was not well educated - she'd gone straight into acting after high school - she was emotionally CLEARLY very fragile and probably had been on some level wondering whether there was really any *actual* value in playing make-believe for a living instead of doing something that changes the world or helps people - like most actors - whether anyone would REALLY like her if she wasn't on a successful TV show, just for who she is - and the guy CLEARLY is looking at her like a hungry panther eyeing it prey. This is why I am FINE with her sentence being as light as it was. This right here is the beginning of YEARS of manipulation of her mind and emotions and brainwashing her. For those who don't think brainwashing is real, my Grandmother fled her country to Germany during WWII - the Soviets were invading her country and killing people by the tens of thousands, working them to death in gulags in Siberia. IN German territory, all people of a given age range HAD to join the Hitler youth. There was a girl's chapter and a boy's chapter. IN this, they were basically taught love - intense love - for Germany and what it was to be German. She wasn't even GERMAN. But she came OUT of that with a FIERCE love for Germany, German language and German culture and German food for most of the rest of her life! She was NOT allowed to speak her native language - only German. She was not allowed to even listen to foreign radio broadcasts - only German. This was SO effective that she actually forgot her own native language. Even I was brought up with GERMAN language, foods, stories, etc, as a result, when I don't even live in Germany. It was not until her 70s that she FINALLY wanted t get back in touch with her roots, speak her first language again, and travel back to the country (in the Baltics) she had come from. By then, she'd forgotten 80% of her own mother tongue. When my mother divorced my father and started dating a man from India, she commented on him being "a little dark...." -another thing instilled in her DURING her time under Hitler's propaganda. THAT is how powerful brainwashing is. It is 100% real, and it is PARTICULARLY powerful and dangerous because when it is being done, it's usually by planting little idea seeds, one at a time, over time, such that you don't even realize your very MIND is being shaped and reworked. The people who are MOST convinced they could never be brainwashed, ironically, are the easiest to brainwash.
