Excellent 😀👍
Storys from Leroy said a guy feet slipped off the pedals when he was starting one like that and the pedals went around and ":beat the piss outta his legs . "
Nice to see
J aime trop ce moteur
Well done for keeping the old bikes going
Amazing machine. For WWI USA produced 50.000 Indians and 20.000 Harleys. Also other brands like Excelsior and Henderson contributed. As my grandmother´s brother were among those soldiers America sent to Europe 1917, I cannot help thinking he was riding one of these great motorcycles.

Triumph bikes are so cool!

How do the engine oil circulate ? 😊
I can’t say for certain, but nearly all veteran motorcycles had a total loss oil system. This means there was a single oil pump that pumped oil from the tank into the timing chest, which then made it’s way into the crank cases, and was then blown out of the breather after lubricating the crank assembly and bore. Top end lubrication in side valves was done via the oil being pumped up to lubricate the pushrods via galleries from the timing chest. OHV engines required external lubrication prior to starting due to the valve train being exposed. This is speaking in general terms, there were some exceptions to the rule.
@@liamjeffery1730 thanks ! Thats quite a lot of information !
How many cc bike old is great

Well doesn't that sound sweet
Nice bike and very nicely restoref. It sounds well👌
Those bikes are absolutely beautiful, but they are really little more than wall hangers. Real deal practical Harleys start in the 30s. I'm going to be cussed for this.
many of these were driven across country in the new cannon ball run over the last few years - I ride a 17 and a 27 Triumph you would be surprised what they can do and go
very nice bike

Hello There, is there any chance that you could get back to me regarding your 1928 Buick as i have just imported a 1928 Buick 128 inch Wheelbase Coupe and i am having problems with the carb flooding plus the auto Vac isn't working and it's on an electric fuel pump with a regulator and over fueling. I noticed that you have an SU carb fitted and i wonder if you could give me any info on how you did it and off what vehicle the SU carb was off. I also noticed that your Buick is right hand drive. Was your vehicle an original export into the U.K. Or was it an import fro South Africa or Australia. I look forward to hearing from you plus i also do a lot with British Motorcycles, Triumph BSA Norton Velocette etc. Cheers. Billy.
Hi Billy I saw a 1929 Chevrolet using a 1.1/4" SU carb off a classic Mini. I bought a 1.1/2" SU and an adapter on ebay. It seems to run ok on that. Our Buick was assembled in Edgware Road in Hendon. GM had a factory there in the late 20's. Read the story when you have time www.1928buick.com Phil
