Although I admire how well trained and control these dogs are showing. I have been training for more than 50 years and it really bothers me to see these dogs not going after the weapon arm. It's funny how today's trainers think that if the dog can take slaps on the shoulder he is well trained. Well I see him as dead. I mean just think about it if you send your dog on a man who has a knife and he is not trained to attack the weapon arm, you now lost your well-trained dog. Just my 50 years opinion.
A dog sent to a guy with a weapon usually ends up dead, the only chance he has is speed and power, and commitment to the bite. Dogs that are trained to transferred bite or weapon arms always hesitate and have no speed and a weak grip, they will be dead even faster. What if the guy has two weapons on each hand?
This dog survived because of speed and power, weapon arm targeting, the dog will slow down and will get an ax full on his face. ua-cam.com/video/f2C3Ft2GVxI/v-deo.html
@@blacky3921 i ve seen on another comment that the grip was sanctionned by more or less points? So,it s like nvbk ring on that point? In Belgium the grip is based on 15points(15for 100%full and deep grip, when the 15tooth that you can see on the side of the head of the dog are biting in the same time,14 if one tooth is not biting,13 if 2tooths aren t biting,etc...).Is it the same thing in your programma?
You really have zero understanding in dog, the dog let go of the bite was because she was stress from the decoy's pressure, not because she couldn't hang on to it because of her size.
There is some exceptional obedience here but that dog is an enlarged jack russel. How do Americans score these SMALL dogs well in bite sports when a perp could easily throw them off in a real protection scnario? After all these sports are designed as breed tests. The decoy simply shook his leg on the second bite and the dog couldn’t hold on. Americans lack of awareness of reality amazes me.
@@blacky3921 it s more a dark malinois, maybe crossed with dutch(as the x-maliniois and x-dutch from the knpv line).Sometimes, they cross also with gsd(at knpv).
BWHAHAHAHA, that cats reaction on the fetch was funny. Course it had to close that startle with the "I got this" lick to its side. Ha ha, I didn't realize there were more fetches in this when I posted this. And what the hell is the cat trying to cover up in the video?? Oh shit. It was food! OK next time I watch the whole thing before I post one single comment. LOLZ Ah, anyway nice work man. He's coming along really well!

It depends on the scenario, some are 10 points for full grip, but we also score the speed to the bite, distractions, grip during the drive....
Tons of confidence and power! Great video!
Very nice

Click is the retrieve and the reward marker?
Clicker is the reward, his behavior (retrieve) has become a higher reward value to him than food or toy.

Do you lose points for grip and heelwork in PSA 3?
Yes
I am impressed with the level of control the handler has!
It’s PSA3, all of these guys are pros.
I can't wait to be back out there!
Very, very nice!
