@@RayShamBo Yeah I've been curious about that. He was not Special Ops or Black Ops, he was a grunt Marine. Barry has said, he learned some of these psychological techniques in the military (some on a sub-Reditt) but that kind of psychological manipulation is not relayed to a "boots on the ground" type Marine. They test aptitudes when you enlist to see if you can even be trusted to do that type of thing before they give you the keys to the brand new car! There would be a concern about blow-back over that kind of training, they would not just let anyone get involved with those types of things. He paints Marine''s as "James Bond" type personnel, when most of them are most certainly not. It is, just a TV show though. Maybe I'm thinkin too much.
@@UNUSUALUSERNAME220 I’m not sure at what point they would have taught him those tactics. Perhaps there is more to his military career than what’s presented in the show. My thinking is that he may have been exposed to these tactics at some point or another, while on an assignment. It’s sort of left up to the viewer to fill in gaps like that when the reasoning doesn’t make it self known through the story.

I wish film makers would understand the difference between shows such as this, and the crap they put all their energy and money behind!
