BEAR on the Trail Hiking Behind a MASSIVE Waterfall, Soaking Wet | Moul Falls
Today I hiked into a massive waterfall named Moul Falls, Its located in Clearwater British Columbia Canada in Wells Gray Park. Its about a 4km in and out trail that is relatively easy other than the last bit that is a steep decent into the falls. I was lucky enough to be able to go behind the waterfall which gave some awesome footage. I even saw a black bear on the hiking trail!

    I have a 1984 ford econoline “mobile traveler” and I’ve been struggling to find any videos online. It’s my first camper and the things I’m unsure of how to check is the generator and the ac/heat system that’s in the ceiling. I hoped to see some similarities n try to figure it out but if anyone has some tips plz lmk

      @AboutAdventure 7 днів тому

      Mine doesnt have an onboard generator anymore so I cant really help with that, I do have the ceiling ac unit though, so if you have any questions about that I may be able to help

    We just got a 1981...almost identical. Could you do a video that shows an overview of camping trip setup? Plumbing setup, how to turn on heat, air conditioning (if any), how to hook it up to camp site power. etc?

    Just to let you know what I'm working with. 1984 Chevy Class C with a 350, 1 AGM deep cycle house battery and 1 AGM dual purpose starting battery. I just bought 2/100w panels that came with a 20a PWM controller. From my research online, here is my plan. Currently I have 1 starting and 1 house battery. From the solar controller, the wires go to the pos + neg house battery. Then connect a "pos only" jumper wire from house to an isolator. Then another jumper wire from Isolator to pos terminal of the starting battery allowing the solar to charge both batteries. If I am correct so far, this set up will only charge whichever battery is low and not over charge the other. No i've read that I will also need a DC cutoff between the solar and controller, and a fuse link somewhere? any help would be appreciated!

    • @AboutAdventure
      @AboutAdventure 2 місяці тому

      I dont use solar to charge my starting battery as there is no drain on the battery when the vehicle is off. I only use what is pictured here, for a house battery I use a 100ah lithium battery and have had no issues. There shouldnt be a need for a dc cutoff between solar and controller. So to break it down go from solar into the charge controller, then out from the charge controller to the house battery. Thats it nothing fancy and its worked for me for 2 years so far with no issues.

      @@AboutAdventure Thanks for this info. The reason I want to keep my starting battery charged as well is because my RV is in a storage unit and there is no electricity to put a trickle charge on it. We drive it maybe 2x's a year. I was hoping I could do a setup where the solar would keep both batteries topped off while idle for a few months.

    • @AboutAdventure
      @AboutAdventure 2 місяці тому

      @@ericrainey5361 Your starter battery shouldnt drain if its just sitting there. My starter battery sits in it all winter long then starts it up fine in the spring. But ya, not sure about the starter battery charging thing as I dont do it haha

    They were crushing pink apexes at 26ft on may long weekend. The changing weather did stop the bite. We were on the far end near the resort cabins (west side). Probably had about 20+ between the 3 of us and we kept 7 that were over a pound. Boat blankets are always good for staying warm, gloves and if you prep for it, wear thermals under your clothes haha.
