I miss the holiday park

The shows are the highlight of our stay, Glad the voice is ok Mark and cant wait to get down again soon. Hopefully we can make the weekend after next. Love to the tream and the hard work you all put in. You all make us feel like family when we come.

You are the most incredible showman. Mark, I first saw you in 1998 and 1999. You and the lovely Liz and the team were essentially my introduction to musical theatre. Because of YOU, the young girl in me fell in love with Phantom, with Les Mis, with Miss Saigon, with Heathcliff, with Starlight Express, with Joseph, with Evita. Music of the Night, Misunderstood Man and your Javert (Stars) were beyond BREATHTAKING. I had your posters on my bedroom walls, and your cd in our car. My dad (Rich Preston) even did a bit of filming for you, and we came to see you perform at a concert away from Welcome too. To have been able to bring my (6!) children to see you perform this week has been an honour. I cannot begin to imagine how devastating the news from the hospital was for you, but let me just say that you were amazing on stage. And when i watched my twelve year old eldest Lilly watching your Phantom in absolute awe, and I remembered myself at her age with the same expression of awe back in 1998.... Hi Mark, over my singing career I had vocal nodules, I ruptured one side of my vocal chords and also had cartilage removed from the back of my nose. Each time there was a period of rest and recovery and sometimes doubt that my voice would come back. But, it did. For me an off night drumming was annoying but an off night singing was very personal. Stick with it and stay strong. You'll get there. Keith [Chatoosh]
