Jamaican born Gospel Reggae Artiste Cecil Wilson, more popularly known as Sone G has emerged as one of the Caribbean’s more creative minds and a versatile Christian Artist. He was born on September 3, 1985 in the parish of Clarendon. Sone grew up surrounded by the constant presence of dancehall and reggae music. His family owned and operated a sound system known to this day as Turbo Sonic. Dancehall was a part of the lifestyle and even at a tender age, his grandmother Viola (Vie) would take him to events where the sound system was being played. This was a major contributor to his desire to be a musician and laid the foundation that has created the zeal that is now exuded whenever he puts pen to paper.
