Love your enthusiasm, man! Anyway quick explanation: Dragon Ball is the original series, and it follows Goku from 12 to 18 years old, so he's just a little kid and a teen at the end. Then DBZ is him as an adult and he has children (the little one with the tail in the second opening, who is also the one with the short hair in the third opening, and the little "Goku" that got picked up by his mom is the second son.) Then GT takes place many years later but Goku gets turned back into a kid by a villain. This series is no longer canon. Dragon Ball Super on the other hand is the new Canon series that replaced GT, and takes place after the Buu Saga of DBZ. Dragon Ball Daima is the newest series. I haven't seen it yet myself, so I can't speak on it yet.

In the first opening, goku and the blue haired girl (who is his best friend) are a child, in the second one, both are adults and goku had a child, Gohan (the little one with the hat), in the third one, the blue haired girl also had a child who is the purple haired kid (there's also his Future self version but thats another whole conversation lol), goku died and now gohan is the protagonist in this arc and he is a grown man, and also before goku died he had another child, goten, who is the one to the left of gohan. His second child is the best friend of the child of the blue haired girl, as you guessed.
