Where do you get your seeds, thank you
You are my hero
Brilliant
Your strawberry towers are ingenious
Cut side up…hay chopped
Great info
FINALLY, someone who gives supply list, explains build inside & out. Plus explains how to set up bailing twine cleats, then shows how to bale the hay. THANK YOU!
Very clever idea! I like the square one a lot.
I love strawbale gardening. This is nice ❤
Straw bales are just way too expensive.. Plus you have to condition them before using, and continue feeding your "garden" while using them.. Seems to me this is just a fad or a lazy "gardeners" way of gardening.. You would spend a lot less if you had to pay someone to plow your area, and then build healthy soil and maintain it.. No more tilling, and no more fertilizing except the compost and cover crop(s) you apply each autumn.
I know I’m late to the party, but maybe you could use a gravel tamper to press the hay after filling it just to get it moved down instead of setting up the lever each time, then use the level before putting the final bit of hay in there. Would probably save some time.
I am using this video to build my first "Pine" Straw Baler ! Thank You !!
How do you deal with squirrels ?
I want to start a straw bale garden, however I want to set my bales out now. Will they deteriorate by next spring? I was going to condition them next spring prior to planting.
2017 panel cost = $21 2023 panel cost = $35
How often do you renew the bails?....Does .the high temperature cause the cattle panels to burn the climbing vines?..Good job!
Fantastic video! I am making of list of what you accomplished!
How far apart are the posts from one side of the arc to the other? Have any of them bowed out?
Young man, you are like a GOD to me.
Never have I seen such a beautiful gatden
So do you simply plant the seedlings straight into the hay? Or do you also put compost on top?
Bromeli - adds
Si podrían explicar el proceso en español
Amazing
This is beautiful, put together nicely. I live in NJ zone 7. The closest place I can cattle panels is about 30 mins away and they don't deliver. I have no transportation to haul them myself unless I rent a trailer/flatbed or small UHaul. However, I've always wanted some. The straw bales are easily accessible to me and considering next season starting a small section with this type of gardening, age wants to tell😂🤣
Nice plants, I'm growing blueberries and blackberries too, 14 blueberry 10 varieties and about 10 blackberry plants, the blackberries I took some cutting from some wild ones growing outside my fence, that plant has been there at least 20 years when I moved here, it never has any viruses, diseases or bug damage and it has a lot of big blackberries.
Why not sprinkle fertilizer on top of the bales in the fall and let the rains and nature do the rest for you? 6 months later it should be broken down nicely.
Nice idea
Love what you've done 💕
Cool. God bless
Splayed out flat 'funnel' pieces on 3 sides on the top might make stuffing the hay in easier.
How many times can you use the same bale for planting?
Yahshua - you know Him as Jesus - was born to a virgin, turned water to wine, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, casted out demons, walked on water, and calmed the storm, among many other things. He was killed on the cross as payment for the sins of all mankind, three days later He rose from the dead. Forty days later He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is returning very soon, but before He does, Satan, the devil, is coming to pretend to be Jesus/God. Satan is an angel, and he will have certain supernatural powers with which to try to fool everyone. He will, for example, be able to make fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. He will only be on earth a short time before the real King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, returns. When the real Jesus comes we will all be transformed into our spiritual bodies at the same moment. Jesus came in the flesh to offer forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who believes and calls on His precious name! Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. - Matthew 26:6-13
How far apart are the bales??
The intro music is too noisy. I'm trying to watch your video while other people are trying to watch tv and sleep. I had to turn off your video to maintain peace in my house
What a beautiful, immaculate garden. Thank you for all the great information.
Who is Joel? I need to know how to look him up to check out the hay conditioning you mentioned. Thank you for your time.
So awesome! The vegetables you harvest must be epic. Thanks for sharing your garden, it's fabulous!
It's rare I enjoy gardening channels mostly because they regurgitate the same old junk, but I enjoy yours. I subbed, but I noticed you're no longer uploading vids. Shame. Take care.
