Just a man & his machine
Street Triple vs 600RR
Chasing my ex-racer friend up the parkway on his CBR600RR. This is someone I struggle to keep up with when he’s going full send, but he def makes me ride quicker.

I'm not American but is it true that if we pass a Harley rider then they will try to chase us and try to sexually harass us like kissing or touching our genitals?
Used to ride with military buds while on active duty. I ride solo now.
Group ride is fun when you are familiar with everyone’s riding skills and can predict their next move. Otherwise, stay away from a big group that think they have something to prove. That is when accidents happen.
Never bike ride groups, why 1 everyone egos 2 everyone wants to rule the pack 3 no one can agree 4 there's always going to be a fight. Best to ride alone or in a small group of your very best friends that you have each other backs no matter what happens.
Someone always wants to show off
What the fudge happened ??
I do ride in a group a couple of times a year, I always ride at the tail end.
Breaking the law to get by then calling others self centered 🤦
People SUCK period
Mixed skills. But on the other hand ive never met a motorcycle rider that wasnt 110% convinced HE knew what HE was doing but everybody else was crazy. Take a survey.
I went on a group ride 20 years ago. Stayed with them for about 15 minutes (torture) then turned off onto another road and ended that shit. Never went on a group ride since. I didn’t buy a motorcycle to ride with other people. I bought it to get away from other people.
Same goes to the cars and the trucks drivers they all think they also own the road
cringe
You see those 2 yellow lines in the middle of the road? The rest of the world did... How did you not?
Malaysia same situation
You went into the left lane over a solid double yellow... 😭💀
Shoulda pedaled your motorcycle next to em, I do it all the time it seems to irritate them, don’t worry I only do it if they irritate me first 😂
two wide, side of the road, enjoying the road as they are legally allowed to. you passed fine so where's the issue?
Single file when impeding the flow of traffic.
You clearly have no idea what your talking about firstly you can’t cross on a double line secondly they were on the whole road thirdly people shouldn’t have to risk a accident and break the law so you can have fun
Looks like a fine group ride. You passed when safe and everyone went about their day.
Single file.....
@@KiloFeenix The peloton would take longer to pass riding single file. Two abreast is safer for both parties. ua-cam.com/video/8NGdQDEkWCE/v-deo.html
@@KiloFeenixso you want to point out what the bikers did wrong but not the passing through a double solid and reckless driving from the motorcycle?
@@reddragonflames1632 of which they wouldn't need to pass if the cyclists were riding single file. Biker=motorcycle, cyclist= person riding a pedal bike.
@@KiloFeenix pointing out that biker means motorcycle is the nerdiest thing ever 😭😭😭 both are bikes lil bro. Bike means Bi and Bi means two, to express how bikes have two wheels. And it doesn’t automatically make the motorcycle’s behaviour better because you THINK
Yeah both sets of bikers always act like they own the road. Then say watch out for bikers when they drive like jackasses.
Don't like group therapy..ride alone or with friends that ride like you do..safer
I only ride with a select few.
Oooooor the real answer is too many idiots on bikes riding in massive groups
Mixed skill is a good way to put it. But what’s even more evident is varying egos…
I don’t do it because I don’t like motorcycle riders.
Rode with a group one of the guys bought a new gsxr 1000 the same day … he hit me going 120 … cracked my fibula , his foot peg sliced my calf like butter all the way to the bone … so yeah F group rides
@@mach183 jeez bro. Glad you’re good. Hope you’re still riding. That’s one of those scenarios I’d either be in front or way in the back if I knew.
@@spktylr stay safe my friend !
Stopped group rides..solo is cool and you still meet people on the way
I really oinly like to ride with 1 or 2 other people I know. It's cool to ride alone, but sometimes for safety reasons you need someone else with you.
You had a hell of a buzz going
Group rides are for gay 😂
That's what happens when everyone is vetted first and rules aren't set
Pack or herd mentality rules in group rides… some squids just cannot curb their impulse to add off , even endangering the group. Ride with those you know and trust and avoid the squids !
Yup why in the old days most experience rode up front and stayed up front the rookies ride in the back
So what would you call what your on then?
I enjoyed riding alone
group rides are fun to watch 😅
Group rides either pull themselves over or get the heck outa dodge
Useless video, what happened? 😂
This is why I love just being a duo, partner and I and occassionally my friend with his wife as pillion
Gangs are Not to good Run alone and be the one😊
Thankfully riding alone is the most fun for me. I could ride in a group if I ever need to but I don’t feel I’m missing out on anything.
Your spot on After several incidents, with mixed riders, I stuck to two people, one of which is my brother , and all three of us roadrace AFM so we have group experience.
As an old man may I make suggestion? Get three riding buddies- bros or gals you trust implicitly. Ride with them until you’re sure and can read their minds. Then *never* ride with anyone else. I turned 50 this year and never stray from my pack. Zero group riding incident and I got my first pit bike back at 11
@@TheRealBelisariusCawl this is exactly how I ride. Every Sunday with the same few people in the mountains or backroads we’re familiar with. Every now and then a new rider or two that also knows the road, but you steer clear of them until you trust their movements. This group ride is an annual ride here, bur probably the last time I’ll be on it.
SAME! I don't do group rides any more. I will still do an occasional local meet ups though. Like you, I have 3 riders I trust. They believe in the same situational awareness /riding behaviors that I follow. It's refreshing to be on sport bikes and the group isn't cop paranoid, or doing squiddly antics/drawing attention to ourselves. Nothing to prove, nor anything to draw attention. It's nice.
😂 continues to give no reason to why just this is why me slowly pulling over cause someone crashed im guessing and again how’s that effect you in anyway but having to pull over 😂 I’d understand if you were always in the accidents
lol yeah I used to ride started on 6 hundos moved up to 1000ccs all the 180 pulls maybe evasions 🤫 etc etc I went to some group rides just to chill found a 18 year old with a brand new r1 he was like I bought it last week and it’s my first ride dude was riding so goddamn wobbly I’m not sure if he is even alive today 😂
Several evasion's? Your one of those losers, lol, and you admit it?
Yea and some of yea drive way to fast in traffic to !
Exactly! Being a auto driver during "bike week" is tough as bikers travel in groups on the highway, show poor judgement with operating their bike, riding 2-3 in a lane etc. Nerve racking!😮😢

I don't get it. I'm missing something.
@@QueerFrogRabbit there was a wreck between 3 riders like 10 mins into the ride. That’s where the part about mixed skill levels comes in.
@@spktylr Ah, I see. I appreciate you! ❤️
Oddly enough you have the same problem with road cycling (bicycle) group rides anyone can show up and you just don’t know what their bike handling skills are like how comfortable they are in a tight double pace line and if they will spend any time on the front. That’s why I stick to my friends group and I’m extremely selective with inviting someone else to a ride. I never considered that you would have a similar problem with motorcycle group rides.
@@justinfletcher6322 yea and as you can see it’s a but more dangerous with the speed, highway, and weight of these bikes. 3 dudes ended up going to the hospital. One almost lost his leg. Was unconscious for 5 mins and lost a lot of blood.
@@spktylr oh yeah motorcycles are way more dangerous. Hope the guys that went to the hospital healed up quickly and got back out on the bikes
Mess around and find out. Bikers aren’t the smartest.
