the central yharnamites had it coming to their asses. my guy just wanted to see whats up but they acted like complete dickheads to him. good riddance. cathedral ward sounds horrific tho. i think by the time you reach that area of the game they already start losing their damn minds, and from then on its downhill from there. anyone beyond ward didnt stand a chance and they knew it.

Dude at cathedral ward door 5 is my favourite, dude literally says 10 words but he’s the biggest vibe in the whole game other that the chapel golum thing

my theory is to what happens to the unnamed yharnamites is as the night progressed, each one eventually went mad from the eldritch truth or transformed to beasts from the old blood they no doubt had consumed or had in their bodies. The one with the woman crying about her baby creeps me out the most as to what could've happened, either her baby had transformed into a beast and is mortified by what has happen, or she had murdered her own child due to madness but does not remember doing so and screams in manic confusion. Either way, this part of the game was amazing in delivering a truly horrific and terrifying experience before even learning of the cosmic truth.
That's exactly what happens, everyone in Yharnam either goes mad, becomes a Beast, or dies at the hands of either a Beast or themselves.
I've always liked that we never get to go in, the dialogue and noises they make is all we have. I love vague and environmental storytelling.
i wondered if she was telling the player to stay away at first but then i remembered that bloodborne doesnt give a shit if children get in the way of the night of the hunt and will straight up let them die. a beast baby would actually have been cute to attack tho but the celestial mobs are close enough.

There is one more funny noise the man at Door 1 can do during the night phase. I think the noises come in a random order so you might need to cycle through his dialogues multiple times. Sounds like a neeeeh. I appreciate the video anyway, nice job.
