Dr. Dre - Let’s Get High (FL Studio Remake + Multitracks)
Another joint from 2001 after some time passed since the last one. As i said, the greatest produced album of all time imo... This one was actually easy to remake because most of the sounds are easy to make if you have some basic sound design skills and you can make them with almost any synth. I used Synth1 because its emulator of Nord Lead 2 that Dre used all over the 2001, as he said in the interview for the rolling stone that he replaced Moog Model D that he used on The Chronic with Nord Lead 2 on 2001. If u want to get into sound design, definitely start with Synth1, its free my G. plus CPU usage is funny.

This could be the best one yet that i made. SteelDrum sounds pretty much the same as original, bass is also original thats used in the actual song, snare, pre-snare, post-snare, hihats... those are all sounds that were used in original track. Was kinda pain in the ass finding those pads that sound similar to the original (pads and effects were made in Toxic Biohazard), i couldnt record exact presets of Toxic cause i had this remake sitting in the folder with those pads alread...

This is really good…one critique…you’re one note off on the bassline. Where you do a double note, its supposed to go down one if you know what I mean. Other than that really dope. People dont understand its not jusy about remaking the notes but finding correct sounds/samples can take alot of time and effort as well…this was much better than I expected🫡👍
In case anyone is wondering how those pads were made... Indeed in toxic biohazard, I preset "Pads - Angel Voice" - I used the notes: C#6 & D6... then I consolidated the track and created 2 more pads and played with the sounds... I think it is the one that comes closest
