Can you please show how to make shell lei using 4 strings?
I love hawaiian tradition. I find it so pure and natural.
Mahalo Ili... no ka hoike mai ana ia makou ka hana ana o ka HALA LEI.... love you always...
Mahalo! Just what I was looking for.
Mahalo for sharing your aloha 😊
I hope someday that you will see my response to your video. It's been a year or so ago.
Aloha! I have a few questions if you don't mind. How long does the hala lei last? And does it need to be wrapped in ti leaf or brown paper, refrigerated to preserve it. Can it be worn more than one day? Does it has a flower fragrance? Mahalo for your video... I was always interested how the hala lei is made. I always wanted to wear one someday. I think it's so original, scarce & Royal looking.
MAHALO for the lesson, I am going to try and make on today.
This is so wonderful! Blessings to all of you for perpetuating our traditions.
What a beautiful video, Iliahi. I've never made a lei hala, but, with your clear instructions together with the great visuals, I'd feel confident about giving it a try. Thank you!
Amazing😀👋👋
Good job perpetuating the art of caring for the puhala!
the music is louder than Sasha, a little hard to hear her.
That's what I was going to comment about also. And the subtitles does puck up everything she says.
