How many times does he have to say it... Before Mitt, Breitbart, Rushbo and the Teabaggers stop lying about it?

Take This Sabbath Day (Karl Malden)
As 77 year old disabled Vietnam combat vet this reduces me to tears, sobs actually every time I watch it. I watched my father's military funeral at the San Bruno National Cemetery in June 1967. 7 months later I was in Nha Trang Vietnam.
You can be Q continuum, just don't connect to AI.
Weirdest episode of The View!
Q's little gesture there was perfect, and Brent Spiner knocked it out the park. Wonderful.
Perfection! (No other word applies)
Sometimes he sounds like Snagglepuss.
The famous Picard face-palming
she is NOT a Q or her people wouldnt have fallen to the chrstal.
Powerful
Respect and honor. Words that can never be applied to trump.
Chris Traeger!
If Democrats ever go hard like the Republicans, this country will improve tremendously.
This is my single all-time favorite moment from the West Wing.
"Fine. You want to be treated as human?" "Absolutely." "Alright. Mr. Worf, throw him in the brig."
This episode went deep into my heart. I cry for the world we have against the world we could have. Thank you, Aaron
If you’ve fought in a war you should never be left behind by your country.
This was hands down one of the best moments on the show; Toby's finest hour and Richard Schiff's best acting.
“I’d like to come along.” That’s where the tears start.
The vestment costume that Karl Malden is wearing, is the same one he wore in "On The Waterfront".
This is one of the greatest episodes in TV history! The story starts with a unique, sad, and interesting coincidence, slowly building in its gravity and importance before culminating in the funeral scene, which is beyond powerful! While it is evident that this show's point of view leans to one side of the aisle, I always loved how it showed respect for the other side, and wasn't afraid to incorporate elements of spirituality and religious doctrine to make scenes more meaningful. The montage at the end is a perfect example of this. It conveyed the message more meaningfully and powerfully than any dialogue ever could.
Such a good show.
Such a good show.
What a nation we would be if our leaders had this kind of empathy.
USN 1980-1991 My favorite episode, even though I tear up each time.
3:05 Q predicted whoopi Goldberg on the view..funny he was actually correct!
I was a Mark Lindsay impersonator
Q's anthem confirmed
I was only an officer for 5.5 years, but wow, this is so moving.
0:31 facepalm meme
A masterpiece in writing and acting.
Wouldn’t it be nice, if those in the federal government actually cared about individuals rather than a bigger or a less personal view.. Toby is doing the right thing here and correctly doesn’t care about the impact of his action. I so wish that our government, would think about the individuals that gave themselves to this country…. Some never come home… many did and it changes the course of their lives. WE NOW OWE THEM EVERYTHING…. We need to provide the best support, be it physical or social or mental, to those that served this country. They did it without question and with considering the risk to themselves. We as a community and country, now owe them everything..
I was nine years old when this episode aired and I cried then. Since then, I can't say how many times I've watched the episode or the scene, but I can say I've cried every time.
If we can dream it, write it, act it, show it, comment on it ... can we do it? Please? Soon?
At 75 and have seen 7 decades of Too Tier Comedians No one to this day has knocked Jack Benny off my #1 slot
1:10 - Never before or since has Worf been so happy to receive an order 😂
Ukraine is fucked, and so is Poland
Got to hand it to American they do make a good job of taking care of their veterans
Space the final frontier, these are the 11-pm to 7-am voyages of the Enterprise's Night Crew and it's continuing mission is to PARTAYYYY!!
Imagine Q being potty trained
He's right - no more Leave it to Beaver. That ideal was horrible. Births out of wedlock seem to work so much better. Society is happier than ever before. The American middle class dream used to be - Mom and Dad and kids. Be good to the dog. Own a small home and a car. Eat out on special occasions. Go to Myrtle Beach once a year and send kid to state college and retire and take care of the little lawn and grandkids. MISERABLE. Now, Wade and Kayleigh or Tyrone and Lisa have the baby out of wedlock, many times leaving one parent to support. Meager wages and lack of qualifications means low pay, but more need for day-care where lucinda and Britany with the f-you tattoos take care of junior. Then between the smartphone, "gym" membership, fake hair, long nails, "organic fraaaaaaash" food.....there's no money left and only stress, misery, record mental problems to where mental meds are in shortage and a cycle of poverty and crime and misery with people walking around angry, ready to punch or shoot over stupid things. The new American dream for *non* Club 401K While Foods White Liberals: "I made by bills this month". Congratulations. Thank God the Beaver stuff is over.
Buckley v. Valeo was decided in 1976. The West Wing premiered in 1999. This episode aired in 2001. I learned about Buckley v. Valeo in college c. 1984. I learned about it in law school c. 1988. I was teaching it to high school students in 2003. This is the most unrealistic scene in the entire seven seasons of the West Wing. There is not a chance on earth that the two most senior communications aides in the White House would need to have Buckley explained to them in 2001, and if they did they'd have been fired on the spot. Aaron Sorkin, or whoever wrote this, either knew absolutely nothing...not one single thing...about campaign finance in 2001 or, for some reason, wanted to insult the characters of Sam and Toby.
You massively overestimate how much the average high school student pays attention to laws
@@mhug162 Yes. My 20 years of experience as a high school teacher have left me utterly bereft of any understanding about how much the average high school student pays attention. Thank so my for your well thought out insight.
Best lines: “Die” “Eat any good books lately “ “HAVING TO BATH” Of all the conversations, the ones with Worf are the best hahahaha
Died lol
That's the Republican mantra now: "please don't hurt me", while Democrats run the table with every extra-judicial, extra-legislative federal power grab and abuse of power our entire Constitution was written to protect us from.
care to explain more concretely outside of youre echo chamber? extra juducial democrats as opposed to appointing 3 judges to the supreme court and overturning roe v wade, is it a power grab to make NDA's illegal or an assault on small business? are your a fortune 1k ceo who's returns to shareholders are blocked by Lina Khan's denial of mergers? Is your entire platform based on the wisdom of 200 year dead men who valued ~15% of the nation at 3/5s a person? republicans of love to quote the bible but any half decent priest or jed bartlet will tell you (ua-cam.com/video/WYEM0C6sfFA/v-deo.htmlsi=rBgm8MkHgVi-OfC0&t=95), lastly what constitutional right have you been denied since so called "darth brandon" has taken office other then your right to posses an RPG, please, tell me one
And yet, when a jury of 12 American citizens unanimously finds your guy guilty on all 34 counts, you still point fingers at everyone else instead of admitting you'll gladly support a crook.
I can't hear this song without remembering how emotional this scene always makes me.
A man without God.
Oh god that outfit.
3:18 "Why Picard would make her a member of the crew and not ME?" Q working at 10 Forward, now that would be hilarious.
Worf is just done 😂
"Eat any good books recently?" I lol'd at that.
