Congratulations on your new gear. My 2 cents contribution: There is a show every year that takes place in January, in Anaheim, California (this year 2025 from Jan 21-25) that features the new equipment coming out, The NAMM Show. You should have waited just in case Presonus or any other manufacturer comes out with a new mixer. I am a keyboard player and might be in the market for a new workstation keyboard. I am waiting to see if any new equipment from Yamaha is coming out. I hate when I get something new just to find out in the next month an improved product is coming into the same category.

Try a small piece of duct tape underneath. It might mellow it just enough and make the stick defenition more pronounced?👍

Try rubber bouncy balls from the 50 cent machine for mallets. Cut them in half and stick them on the end of a bamboo skewer. Use a little epoxy to keep it snug in place if you have to. Maybe ill try to get one of these gongs somewhere. Keep on experimenting with cymbals man!

Idk if you know this but if you wanna adjust the depth their is a trim pot on the circuit board it looks like a tiny blue plastic bit with a screw you can turn with a super tiny screwdriver

i changed the heads and tuned them up..used evans G2 sound much better

Very cool review of these Temu hi hats! For $200, you can definitely get a better pair of used hats from reverb, ebay, or GC used. I was able to find a excellent condition pair of HHX evolution hats for $150 after shipping and tax. It was still cool to hear these so thank you for sharing!!

As enticing as temu makes their stuff seem, i refuse to waste my money just to save a few bucks. Especially when it comes to drum equipment.

I was thinking about getting some shit off temu. But at the end of the day, i think it's just more shit to add to the shit collection 😂 ooooo only $20??? Oooo only $10?? That's how they get ya lol. But sometimes you'll actually find some stuff that looks cheap but sounds great
