Think I’ve finally settled on 1)Lionel Messi - for the reasons given by yourselves 2) Sir Kenny Dalglish - home country bias but for what he done for a small country on an international level and also 2 massive clubs in Celtic and Liverpool on and off the pitch 3)Sir Alex Ferguson - no denying his influence on football management and to do it with Aberdeen before going to Man Utd is testament to his ability 4) R9 Ronaldo - one of the football players with the biggest question mark over him with regards to could he have been even better without his injuries,lit up world cups and went to multiple leagues and scored goals for fun…also spoken about by a generation as the “original Ronaldo” and wasn’t your super lean athlete type but could do everything he needed to and more

Not often I agree with Greg but he’s 100 percent right about Sir Alex. Think it’s far too early to call for ETH to be sacked. People seem to forget that in the champions league we played Allright scored 3 goals in most matches just individual performances cost us. You then look at the managers we’ve had. Jose, van gaal and none of them really succeeded bar Jose even then it was not great. Think there is a lot more going on at the club as you can’t have 2 world class mangers that have been a success at every club and then get them sacked. If you look at United transfers since sir Alex. Who has actually been a successful signing? There has not been many and there have been a lot of terrible loan deals as well. Which again makes you think are these signings that likes of your Jose and Van Gaal would request and I don’t think they are. Then again you can argue why Ole had us playing some of the best football we have played in the lockdown period since sir Alex left and why with ETH can we not seem to string 3 passes together. Is it the manger or is it egos in the club?
