Hi. I'm Hannah. Thank you for visiting my channel. This is the only social media platform I’m using to share my videos. I started this channel to document my performances using various mediums. One of the mediums I like to use is visualizing my performances using visualizer apps and led lights. As for recording the audio and video, I'm using the following,
1. Yamaha C2 Silent Grand
2. Yamaha Digital P-515
3. Pro FX10 V3 Mixer
4. Ableton Live
5. Studio One
6. Canon R Camera body
7. Canon RF 24-105 STM lens
All music is performed and edited by me in my studio in the Netherlands. I do not edit the tempo to speed up nor do I modify any notes such as correcting a wrong note. The only enhancement is the audio quality which is done with Studio One. Technical/musical tips are provided in my shorts. Further tips tailored to individual needs can also be provided online. To arrange a 1-on-1 private session online, just message me at the email below.

New Year 2025 Special (Shostakovich Waltz No. 2)
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you enjoyed the fireworks wherever you were. To celebrate the New Year, I'm sharing this popular waltz by Shostakovich. I already recorded this piece before with the falling hearts in red and pink because I published it sometime around Valentine's Day last year. So far, this is my favorite transcription of Shostakovich Waltz No. 2 despite the technical challenges it poses for those with small hands. I hope you will enjoy my performance and I wish you all a great 2025.

Nutcracker Christmas Special 2024 (March of the Toy Soldiers)

Merry Christmas! I recorded this today. I'm trying out a new format for next year. Since I already have this piece recorded, I figured I should show it in a different format. I always like to improve on old recordings whether it's on interpretation or technique. This one is slightly faster than the previously recorded one as well. Maybe that's a sign that my technique has improved. Actually, I ...
Tchaikovsky - Chinese Dance (transcr. Pletnev)

Here's another dance from the Nutcracker that is one of my favorite. This is also known as "Tea" from the second act of Nutcracker. I didn't edit out the wrong notes because I wish to prove that I'm a human and not an AI. The treacherous jumps in the middle section require one to have 4 eyeballs for real. LOL My first recording taken at a slower tempo was note-perfect but then I thought it was ...
Tchaikovsky - Trepak (transcr. Pletnev)

Here's a popular piece from the Nutcracker Suite widely known as the "Russian Dance" or "Trepak" in Russian. Technical challenge involves lots of jumps and leaps similar to the style of Russian folk dancers depicted in this piece. It's very difficult to execute the leaps without mistakes. Playing by memory is a must. I will keep striving for a note-perfect performance as I plan to play this eve...
Debussy - Ondine

Since Halloween is just around the corner, I've decided to be a mermaid again this year. Therefore, I have prepared "Ondine" by Debussy. This one is lesser known than Ravel's Ondine which I shared on Halloween day the year before. (See the link below) This one is full of scintillating passages which tickle my ear every time. Which "Ondine" do you prefer? Feel free to let me know in the comments...
Debussy - Les collines d'Anacapri (The Hills of Anacapri)

I haven't uploaded a Debussy piece in a while so here it is. I added the score for this piece however, let me know in the comments if you wish to see a visualized version. My Debussy Arabesque video did well so I got the sense that viewers may want more videos like Arabesque. This is one of my favorite preludes by Debussy which was composed in 1909. It's Debussy's impression of Anacapri, an Isl...

Hi everyone! Hope you're all well. It's been a while since I last uploaded here. As a slow learner of new pieces, I like to take my time absorbing and getting to know the piece. I started learning this piece in the spring of this year so I'm finally happy to add this famous piece to my transcription playlist. I like to call this a "Farewell to Summer 2024" piece even though this piece is usuall...
Ravel -Scarbo (The most chilling piano music)
Переглядів 7759 місяців тому
Here's the final movement, 'Scarbo' from Ravel's Gaspard de la Nuit. This movement depicts a shape-shifting dwarf/goblin who is lurking around at night and taunting the observer lying in bed. You can hear the goblin come and go throughout the piece. This is widely regarded as one of the most difficult pieces written for solo piano. Ravel wanted to write a piece that was more difficult that Bala...
Shostakovich - Waltz No. 2 (transcr. Noack)

Since it's the month of February, I'm dedicating this piece to my mother who celebrated her birthday on February 5th. She is a huge fan of André Rieu who is known for putting on an extravagant show with his orchestra. This waltz is one of his signature pieces and can be heard on his UA-cam channel below, ua-cam.com/video/vauo4o-ExoY/v-deo.html I found this transcription quite technically and mu...

A very elegant and expressive performance, Hannah. It sounds like a very tricky transcription, and you manage the difficulties fantastically, always letting us hear the musical line and keeping the waltz feel. 😊
Beautiful, elegant and luxurious performance. Good job👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤
Insane piece!!
Very beautiful music and an atmosphere 🕯️✨👌☺️ Enjoyed listening! Happy New Year!🎶☺️🎇✨🎆

fantastic performance! The octave on the left hand is really nice👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨❤
Thank you. Happy New Year! 🎉🎉🎉
I watched the Nutcracker Ballet with my kid on Christmas Day and I remember that time and enjoyed it. Beautiful interpretation❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎄✨
Thank you. Happy New Year! 🍷🥳🎉
thank you for your uploads. Your pas de deux cover was so beautiful. If you have time can you maybe do a synesthesia for Resphighi no.6 internmezzo-serenata from his 6 pieces for piano? That would be lovely. Have a happy new year:)
Thank you for listening. I'll look into that piece when I get a chance. Happy New Year! 🍷🍷🍷
🎶Wonderful upload!👍✨
Thank you! Happy New Year!🎉🎉🎉
Dear Hannah, your performance was really enchanting!! Very lovely played ✨
Thank you. 😊
This is a such a beautiful piece, and I love to study how pianists play it. I have a question, I can’t tell, but it sometimes looks like you don’t always play the full interval from the right hand, sometimes it looks like you only play one of the notes from an interval (I compare your playing and the pletnev arrangement notes). From what I understand, we need to play each interval from the right hand. Yet It feels like it’s going to be difficult to play all the intervals at a fast pace later, so I have been lately a bit confused on how to play this piece. or do pianists play it differently than what I am currently doing? Beautiful playing by the way❤
Hi. Thank you for listening and thank you also for your nice comment. Here's my technical approach regarding the intervals or so called double 6th/5th in the right hand in the first section. The bottom note of the interval should be played with less weight than the top note because the top note has the melody. In order to achieve this, you would have to place more weight on the top notes by leaning in. So yes, there won't be an equal weight on bottom and top notes of the interval so it can sound like the bottom note is not being played or left out. I strive to hit every note on the score because I'm a classical pianist who likes to follow the score. If the note didn't come out, that's a mistake that should be corrected. I plan to record this again using the recent format I shared. So please stay tuned.
wow...this sound so delicate & good!
Thank you. Hope you had a nice Christmas!
Wonderful Performance! 🎹🎵

Fantastic performance, Hannah! Looks like a very athletic transcription - much trickier to play than it sounds… 😊
Thank you. Athletic like the dancers indeed. 😂
Very beautiful playing! So delicate and delightful to listen!☺️🎶👏🏼👏🏼 Merry Christmas 🎄❄️🎶✨
Thank you. Merry Christmas!🎁🎄 🎉
wonderful performance! 👍🏻
Thank you. Merry Christmas!
Wonderful! ♥♥♥
Thank you.😊

This is great! I was looking for fingering for the beginning part of the right hand. Do you use 1 3 and 2 4 on the ascending and descending double 4ths/5ths? Or do you jump the thumb up? I can’t tell. I have a small reach so 1 3 and 2 4 superrr tense
Thank you. I alternate between 1 3, 1 4, 1 2, 2 5 and perhaps more. I can't tell what fingering would work best for you because I don't know your hand shape, size, technique, approach, etc. Fingering varies according to these factors. If you like some recommendation on what fingering works on your hand so that you can play without tension, we can meet online for a 1on1 session. Let me know if you're interested. Just send me a message to tonalpalette@yahoo.com
Great upload, have a good Sunday

This is amazing and i really appreciated it, if possible, can i get the sheet with finger number?? I am really having hard time with practicing this...
Normally i dont comment on videos. But i have to say this is one of, if not the best renditions of this classic piece. I really love how Tchaikovsky’s aristocratic elegance comes forward so clearly. Very understated and not flashy. 11/10❤
Enchanting performance, TP! 🎶💖🎹💘🎵Bravo! \|/
Thank you.
Beautiful performance!!!! I love Debussy's compositions!!! I will look for you Ravel Ondine and compare, but I love both composers. I will probably like them both!
Thank you. Ravel Ondine was more challenging for me both technically and musically. 🙂
you play it perfect. so good.🧡🧡also I enjoyed the visual concept of the video very much!

Beautiful!!!! I played this too and it’s auch a delight to hear you play it too ✨ Love the crystal clear sound!
@@pianothingsmusic I heard your version as well and loved it. There’s more to Debussy than Clair de Lune and Arabesque for sure. 😀
Hey! I was the one who did little red riding hood and commented there. I hope you are okay and keep doing music!
Wonderful performance! Big like 3 from me 👏👏👏👏
