I agree with you pawat60 I am a nova scotianer myself and they deffinetly are an icon. but these two reporters are a little on the rude side. the rankins are the best no matter if they are together or not.

i MUST agree with the other comments here, regarding the female reporter's ignorance of the background of The Rankins....plus her immature, and unprofessional, comments regarding The Rankins' growing up in a large family. Very disappointing job, folks!!

That was complete ignorance and disrespect on the part of the female reporter. And 4 of the Rankins went on to success. How about 5? She probably doesn't know that John Morris was part of the group and was killed in a truck accident. And now Rayleen is gone too. God bless them.

Do reporters not research their stories anymore? I can't believe some of the comments made, especially by the female host. The Rankin Family is a Canadian icon and deserve the respect due them. I expect better from you Global TV. Love the Rankins, didn't like this interview.
