Glad I stumbled on your video! I'm super torn on getting the new speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. If I look at your video and that it's been about 3 yrs, my guess is that you got the newer version of the DE which is the matte finish leather on the handles & strap. I read on lots of forums that the matte leather can get water marks from rain, and an LV SA told me to be mindful when using hand lotion before touching the handles/strap. This is definitely not the case with the older shiny DE leather. How does the matte finish holding up on your speedy b nowadays? Is it easy to get some water marks (rain) on the matte handle? I know that rain isn't an issue with the original shiny leather. Curious to know how the matte leather performs! :) Thanks so much!!

hey :) I really enjoyed your review & your onpopular, honest opinion. thanks for sharing! I feel like a lot of people convince themselves that because it's from Hermès, it HAS to be perfect and so, because of their strong expectation, they really like it - even though they probably would not liked it, if a no name brand would have come up earlier with the same item/design/function I went back and forth between a Louis Vuitton Zoé compact wallet or a Calvi/Bastia combination. As I own loads of LV SLGs and everyone is raving about Hermès (and also because I am a huge fan of bold colors which Hermès really does best), I wanted to dip my toe into big H. I ordered quite some colors and leathers for choosing. While I was absolutely underwhelmed by epsom leather (papery, plasticky, artificial, too matte for my taste), I immediately fell in LOOOOOOVE with the look and feel of chèvre Mysore. But it was just so thin and flimsy that I was scared to use it and put it in my bag, especially when filled with coins. Then I recognized that the design is so lazy & poor that I almost felt insulted. Basically a peace of leather which was folded. I could have done that myself for real! And do not let me start on the Calvi. Everything was sliding around and falling out with cards on both sides - so I decided to put them only on one side. BUT: then with every time you would press the button to close it, you would leave a more prominent imprint of the button in the leather. And still I was not able to comfortably flip through my cards, since Calvi has no gusset. And on top of all the cons: not getting a dustbag was really a big con for me, when buying from THE luxury brand the LV Zoé on the other hand is soooo cleverly designed. It is the tiniest possible while carrying coins, cards, back pocket & has a full bill compartment

I always got my bags from DH gate but i never liked that quality , someone at my work place introduced *amzrepz.com* and i read all their reviews on google and decided to give it a try and since then i have been buying from there and their bags quality is amazing , just sharing incase you are also tired of less quality bags from DH gate .For me quality is everything even if i cant afford authentic i must get quality.

The old toy loulou had a middle pocket. But the small loulou has a middle zip pocket :) enjoy your bag)

I believe they took the middle pocket and the adjustable strap out but reconsidered and putt the adjustable strap back on just with less holes as it used to have holes the whole length of the strap before. This is going to be my next luxury purchase for sure

Great review! This was the type of video I was looking for. I just picked mine up today. I love it and was so surprised by how much I can fit in it. It’s so adorable. My bag also has the divider in the middle without a pouch and I also wondered if mine was a newer model. Mine also came with the adjustable strap. I didn’t receive the authenticity card. Beautiful bag.

So I clicked on this video tonight because the title attracted me. I went to the Hermès boutique two days ago and when the SA brought out the coin purse, I said the same thing you did and left the store NOT purchasing. You hit the nail on the head comparing the price to the way it felt in hand. Didn’t feel luxurious to me. Was super light and didn’t feel worth it. Hopefully you took it back and got something more worth your money but if you kept it, I also hope you’re enjoying it. I just couldn’t do it!

I got the PM DE for work and MM monogram for travel. I carry lot stuffs with me every day and BB is too small for me. My MM can hold my laptop and s water bottle and a shawl. To protect the vachetta leather I wrap the handles with a scarf or wear gloves. Love the BB, so cute 💕 MM has only on mono, de long discontinued FYI

Hi! I recently purchased this bag and I am so excited as it is my first authentic LV. I do have a question regarding the chain. I love the look of the chain and intend to wear it as a crossbody for the majority of the time, however, would it be tacky to order a different strap to switch out and use to switch it up? Or should I strictly only use the gold chain since it is the normal (classic) look of this bag? Any opinions are appreciated!!!

I bought the key pouch and you’re right. It was made in the USA and the quality wasn’t good. It had defects out of the box. I sent it back. I’m thinking of getting the 6 key holder instead since it’s more likely to be made in France.
