Drone Showreel 2024 - Cinematic Sky
Welcome to the Cinematic Sky 2024 drone Showreel featuring aerial Cinematography from across the UK & Ireland.
After being awarded the title of NI Drone Business of the Year at the recent SME Business Awards we thought it necessary to finally update our showreel! In the last year we have continued to work with fantastic filmmakers and creatives and were delighted to see our work featured on networks such as BBC, RTE, Sky, Prime Store and Netflix amongst others.
We take immense pride in our drone filming. It is something we have specialised in for the last decade (Tony Carlin, Cinematic Sky Director and pilot was one of the first people in the UK to gain a CAA commercial license to fly drones) so if you have an interesting project and need an aerial specialist please don't hesitate to get in touch.
The clips in the showreel were filmed with our two main drones - the DJI Inspire 2 and our Mavic 3 Cine.

Cinematic Sky were once again hired by Derry City Council to provide the aerial cinematography for the 2022 Maritime Festival - helping to welcome in the Clipper boats from their around-the-world race as well as celebrating maritime activities in the region. A few of my favourite Drone shots of Derry City after the recent heavy snowfall. I was lucky enough to spend the last few days getting aerial photography and video clips of the city. Cinematic Sky were hired to create a range of promotional video and photography content for web, social media channels and traditional media (including photography for the Irish Times Fashion Magazine), The shoot was filmed in St Columbs Hall, Derry with model Tara from Antipode modelling Agency.
