I've used it for awhile...Krita is more user freindly now. I like the Layer/Image/panel/hover preview to find that object on the whole image easily. Very annoying in Gimp. Their getting layer image preview, but can't see it right now by left click on image in layers 3.0. Krita can paint with scalable patterns brush . Why they don't have that in Gimp?? Scalable stencil pattern. The layer effects in Krita, have about idk 70 to Gimps 25? around.......I still like to use Gimp, but getting use to Krita...Gimp is like Photoshop Lite. Krita is like photoshop Lite Plus.

For dealing with the blue, blur the hard edge, then Filters -> Noise -> Spread and then blur the spread, repeat if needed.

Thanks. This helps. But I will never understand why it is so easy to accidentally un-dock the toolbox, but than you can't put it back by just dragging it, or clicking a simple button in it's title bar or something.
