Yes it’s contemporary.
Nah it’s called flexn it originated from Jamaica In the 90s from a style called bruk up created by George bruk up adams. The en point foot work comes from a flexn style called gliding an evolved technique of the original moonwalk. Flexn as lyrical flexn which is what you may say it looks contemporary. But the framework is made up of dancehall reggae which is why you can’t pin point an exact reference. It’s new for people. But when you break it down and learn where the styles from you see how each piece of made up to. Create what you see before you. The flows come from gliding feet first body next.
