1:03 too
0:15 that too
1:44 that shot looks cool
A lens' focal length is the same, it is the crop that makes it look nearer. Depth of field is much better on full frame and the f-stop on crop cameras, is effectively reduce by the crop factor too. In other words an f2.8 lens on an APSC camera gives a depth of field like an f4 lens on FF.
Wow! That is one stand alone video. What a sight to she, just magic. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you sir
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you broda!!
The horseshoe curve of Mason trains
This was so helpful and straight to the point, thank you!
Thanks 👍
thank you
Over 70 years ago, I lived with my parents just over the mountain from this curve. Back then, you could stroll over the tracks and up the mountain. I imagine that has been halted due to some exercise of common sense.
Shoutout to the Yak
Mr. Mom! 😎😎
OMG thank you this video helped me so much, the way I used to always press play whenever my videos would finish
Who’s here from Modern Family?
The dream shit for me
Hi there, i am doing a video about horshoe curve and i am wondering if i could use this footage in my video with credit given?
Yes, you may
Ugh THANK YOU!
hi there I came across your video and I have a quick question . I'm shooting with an a9 using sony gm 70 200. now at my gym lighting is not that great . very dim !! my iso was up there at 10000 at shutter speed around 800 to a 1000 . shooting at 2.8 . I notice light and change color due the the type of light in the gym . I know a9 doesn't have anti flicker like a7iii does but is there any setting that would help with that kind of light color shifting? thanknyou so much
I love this place
Amazing, so simple.
I came here because I learned Nazis tried to sabotage key infrastructure in the US during WW2 and this was one of the them
Stunning.
Thanks
Did you use Aperture Priority, Auto ISO? Also which AF Area did you use?
Great shots in the cam. Thanks.
Wow this view is amazing I love being at the Horseshoe curve and the Conway yard
We saw this on tour with a classic car group in 2018.
I’m considering upgrading my Canon 77D to Sony A7R III however the A9 did really make me undecided. I want a versatile camera but mostly for sports such as soccer and a few indoors. What would you advise?
Hi!! Did you see any difference between the 24-70 ssm1 to ssm2 in the optical or af motor? I really wan't this lens for my a99 but i hat the lock aperture in video to 3.5 :^(
Thank you so much! I was searching for this.
That aerial view is fantastic. Virtual Railfan has a close-up live-feed installed there; it faces the mountain from across that small park with the seating area. You barely get an impression of the track's curvature, but those freight trains are really long! Dozens of them come through daily.
Hello, I want to sell the sony a99 ii to buy a sony a7R III, to take sports photos ..... what do you think? Thank you
I'd be curious to know if you can offer any comment as to the A99's focus points being clustered in the centre of the viewfinder. I believe they basically reused the system from the A77. Does this present a practical limitation when shooting to the rule of thirds, etc?
Ink
Can you provide the raws pls?
On to Tunnel Hill
Not long enough

Great catch! Thanks for sharing. Gr Britain Sat 05 Oct 2019 2320
Why is there so much grain with the a7R3 at those low iso’s
I love that shooting at 4000 or 5000 ISO is considered low - haha. He's also doing some heavy cropping on those shots, as he mentioned.
Did you shoot these on Aperture Priority? Just guessing based on the dramatic changes in your camera settings. I shoot sony, but Motorsports, I was just curious, as I shoot all manual settings.
Nice.
Well that didn't help any...lol. Both cameras took great shots. I was hoping to see a noticeable difference between them. I'm thinking of getting the A7r3 for the cropping ability since I like to do that with my sports pics. However, the A9 did just as good. How do you think the 100-400 lens would do in high school stadiums (football/baseball)? I hear that the A9 is the best camera for sports but you showed that the A7r3 is not bad. Did you have any banding issues or image distortion with either? Any thoughts on which to get for volleyball/ basketball?
Mind blowing from that aerial shot. Well done.
Very nice shoot! 👍👍👍
THANK YOU - most helpful :-)
Thanks for video and sharing of your focus settings. Is there any sport where you would use “ lock-on”, or any other focus area?
