This has been a wet job for sure. It's nice having the 350 to take down some of these bigger trees without disturbing the trees to be saved.

Very good. Thank you. Both the videographer and the dozer operator did a great job!
Thank you, I was the operator and my brother did the video.
Well we run ctl’s in our landscape company and we love them and what they can do for us but going off of previous comment there is no way in the world I could ever compare a ctl to a track loader. What a dream machine. That thing would run absolute circles around us. Watching your videos this machine is a beast to say the least and if I could justify the cost I’d love to have one.
I agree. We have two CTLs but they are nothing like our 963. Don't get me wrong, they do a great job but, every machine has its place.
One of the best operators I’ve seen
Thank you again @AdamSmith-uv6kr
Impressive machine. Damn good operator. Could watch you all day
Thank you!
What a dang good operator. One of my favorite machines for sure and I hate not seeing them as much anymore. You’re so efficient in the work and not beating her up. I’d hire you in a heartbeat. Great work.
I sure do appreciate that. I love trackloaders and all they can do. I think we have the only one in the area.
Who makes that root rake?
Thats a Cat rake. We put the Cat fusion coupler bracket on it.
Lol thats chris's machine
No its not. To prove it, Chris does not have cab guards.
Good job👍
Thanks

Wow claws look familiar 😂😂😂😂
Where have you see that before?

👍
More rotobec content 👏
I will get more when the Rotobec is on the machine
Impressive 💪
Thank you
Wow amazing I'm really like your video I hope I will be see more your video
Thank you for watching. I have 60 some videos so subscribe and enjoy!
Awesome job putting it to work. Makes us happy. Some Lifco swag coming your way.
Thank you Liftco Hydraulics. We couldn't be happier with the rake and the coupler adapters. Great products and great people!
That's one way to make the silt screen fence crew happy... nice machine at least you don't have to battle dirt in your roots.
LOL yeah it's a pain for sure but nobody wants to put silt fence back up.
@@Landclearer1 LOL truer words have never been spoken
You’ll have that on them big jobs.
@@michaelpuckett8571 Yes you will lol
@@Landclearer1 let the laborers worry about silt fence 😉
Now we know what @letsdig18 is getting lol
on second thought stumping with that looks painful
@@queenofspadz It actually stumps really good. That tree was on the other side of a ditch and the roots were right up on the silt fence line. Just trying to save the silt fence and the trees that stay.
@@Landclearer1 it's gotta remove a wide swath of material to cut roots is where I was thinkin, vs a two pronged stump fork
@@queenofspadz It works good for us. A lot of our trees have big root mats that we have to get out anyway so the excavator rake makes less work for the trackloader to grub.
I think that Chris is tired of getting out of the cab to chainsaw. I think it’s a grapple with the built in saw like his friend.
Professional 👍
Sure Chris said he wasnt getting a Thumb and this has a separate Thumb 😳🤷🏽♂️
Thanks Bud!
... it's perfect
Thanks!
I miss the good days when you could sit on a site and just hear the back and forth rattle-tattle of dozer tracks. All day long. No damn government-mandated idiot "get out of the way" alarm....
LOL I have heard backup alarms for so many years I actually have to try and listen to see if it is working.
Great job taking care of the machine
Thank you, I appreciate that.
👍 clearing for a road? 👍
Yes roads and drainage easements.
Awesome Operator
Thank you, I appreciate the compliment.
Gets the job done!!
Yes it does!
👍 😃 fun!!!!!
I love it.
How long has this guy been an operator ?
Why do you ask? How long have you been an operator?
Wow don't get our excavator stuck!!!! looks like you guys know what your doing. 😃
lol we haven’t got one stuck yet. This is a nasty little job for sure.
Awesome machine
Thanks bud!
Very nice !!!! Rotobec grapple
Thanks. I love that thing!
Did you just get that grapple? Must work very good feeding the cbi .
@@countrywoodsman7734 No we have had for a while. We only use it on certain jobs. The 250 is the only machine we that is set up for it. It need three sets of lines to run it.
Wow beautiful machine
Thank you!
👍
What do you split them for?
It makes them easier to grind and get the dirt out before grinding.
Must be preparing to grind thoes stumps.
Looks like some good dirt.
It is good sandy topsoil. It will be really nice once it is screened.
That's a nice smooth running excavator. 😃
Yes it is very smooth to operate. I really enjoy operating it!
I bet you had Tonka toys when you were little. I did, loved them. Keep that Volvo busy!
Lol. I sure did. Wouldn’t want to do anything else!
Looking good!
Turn one of those ripper shanks around backwards and back up to a stump with it and you have one stump pulling machine there. Alot of people don't know that.
That is a slick setup.
Thanks bud!
As far as today's contractors around by me are concerned, a Compact track loader is phenomenal, ( which they are) but a full sized one is useless! They can't figure out how to use one. The people who say that stuff are Uneducated contractors.
I fully agree. CTLs work great and have their place but are no match for a full size trackloader. A good operator can do so much work with one.
@@Landclearer1 , absolutely. Today's younger generation contractors aren't educated enough or really wise enough to employ a crawler loader. They will struggle to utilize 3 machines, a Excavator, a dozer and a wheel loader to do the same job a crawler loader will by itself.
@@scottmcquarrie7295 You nailed it. We put a coupler on ours and it is even more versatile. We have some bad ground in our area and it will go where a loader will not. I think trackloaders are for us "old guys" unfortunately.
@@Landclearer1 , not necessarily old guys, just us smart guys!
Lol. You got me there. Totally correct!
I saw a CAT demo a few years back with a D-11, D-10, D-9, & D-8 pushing dirt toward the audience. Their blades were in a straight line across so we could see the size differences. I wish CAT would show D-1 through D-5 like that🤔
The D1 which was a D3 is a strong little machine. It will out push our 450 Deere.
Why does it sound like it's running on one cylinder?
I think you hear the tracks clanking. It runs at 1800rpms and is much quieter than our old C model.
At first I thought you were cutting with a front loader but then I realized what you were doing why the hell do you have a front loader bucket on your Dozer where is your blade at
It’s a trackloader, hence the bucket!
I hate track loaders. Roughest ride.
I miss those days
Good job 👍😊
I love how this video makes this look harder than just keeping it moving at the same speed There is nothing else to this btw
Thought it to be N. Fla. 0r Ga.
Close it’s SC
@Landclearer1 OK that explains " crushed granite " I like the look
Beautiful spread job…did that for 25 years along with a bunch of other things…loved working on the roads!!!
Our driver enjoys spreading also. He does a good job. Thanks for the compliment.
