Mine is a 1975 170 with a 2000 Yamaha 115. I live in Largo, FL, fish the shipping channel from about 3 miles inside the Skyway out to Eggmont and Passage Key for Tarpon. The intercostal for Snook and Redfish. The south jetty at Blind Pass is a great spot on the incoming tide for LOTS of big Reds. I thought of putting a T-Top, but that would exclude me from getting under those LOW bridges on the intercostal, so Bimini for me. Excellent little boat, huh? I love mine 😊 nice work on the refurb. 👍

This engine sounds pretty nice with the turbo. I have a 1992 Hardbody with the KA24E and I have been wanting to go with a turbo setup.

No KA came with anywhere near either of those numbers buddy.

you want a tune so your motor lasts. biggest thing is your A/F ratio, detonation can destroy a motor in a instant at high rpm i believe you can tweak them with hotter plugs/gap and FPR without having a tune, but it wont be perfect

I love it.... I cannot wait!! I have a1990 240 hatch w over 400,000kms. Ima put a stock rb20 turbo on the ka24e,once the motor goes, in goes a 2jz!!!! Any tips?

sounds good but you should get bigger injectors. a ROM tune for your setup would be the cheapest probably. you should also get an aftermarket fuel pump like a walbro 255 lph
