FULL STORY! Roar was a popular band including Phil Spector. Phil did a song with Ronnette and they later got married in 1968. From hearing ronnettes story they discovered that Phil was abusing her and threatening her. he would hide her shoes so she couldn’t escape and have a clear coffin he would say she would be in if she left without permission. They were married until their divorce in 1974. She feared if she stayed with him she would die. She decided to run away bare foot and her mom and her called the cops on phill. Due to his criminal records phill was charged with life in prison. Ronnete died on January 12 2022 due to cancer. The song Christmas kids: the band roar made a song called the Christmas kid to tell that phill would escape prison and find her he would also never let her go and her children were just to make her stay happy with him. He died January 16 2021 due to COVID -19 and his loss of medication May ronnete rest in peace 🕊️ (I’m sorry if there are typos I was typing really fast)
