HOW TO BE A MINIMALIST IN 2020! (THE EASIEST WAY)
Переглядів 6524 роки тому
How to be a minimalist with simple approach to everyday life activities. Music: Faded Pill R/B Musician: Not The King.👑
No, 10,000 hours is not enough to reach expert level in anything meaningful. If anything that's the minimal buy in for reaching intermediate.
Andrej Karpathy is extremely inspiring
This sentiment is to avoid pointing to genetics for talent, but propensity to do hard work is probably also genetic LOL
Eh not really sadly. Yes, ofc there arent „miracle people“ per se but definitely some that have an unfathomable ability to consume and reproduce knowledge at way faster rates than the average person. Studying.. yeah thats fine but if you‘re able to fit 10x as much content into the same amount of time spent learning ofc these people will reach the limit of whats known and whats learnable faster than everyone else and make their own discoveries or challenge what was established as common ground until then. Just look at some of these chess kiddies that are better than adults with fully developed brains at this game as an example.
He may have studied hard, but he was also born a genius. That certainly helped.
I studied hard, succeded, failed multiple times, learned smart work is way better, what is life without a few hurdles!? I did pre-engineering in intermediate, shifted towards management later on! Did bachelors in finance! At the end learned that praying and reading the Quran is the key! Rest takes care of itself by the will of God!
My algorithm is suggesting this to me 💀
What about a person who is borned with a poor brain :(
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 *🧠 Boredom as a Productivity Tool* - Boredom can be a productive tool to incentivize productivity. - Eliminating distractions like phones can increase focus and task enjoyment. - Constant stimulation can hinder clear thinking and inhibit personal development. 03:35 *🛠️ Practical Tips for Deep Work* - Designate specific hours for deep work to establish a routine. - Create a distraction-free workspace to enhance focus. - Take meaningful breaks and invest in tools that support deep work like noise-canceling headphones. 04:57 *🧘♂️ Importance of Downtime and Neurochemicals* - Utilize low-stimulus activities like walking or meditating during breaks. - Listening to binaural beats at 40 Hertz can enhance focus by increasing neurochemical levels. - Prioritize downtime to avoid attention residue and maintain mental clarity. yeap.
I miss the times where people put the subtitles in the bottom of the video and not in front of it.
This video inspired me a lot.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Without right platform , even a fish dies .
I wish the person who overlaid the video with annoying subtitles had taken the day off.
okk sir feynman said so, but HARD WORK seems so vague
The truth is that time doesn't matter as soon as we get to understand what really matter, the knowledge itself, it's quality over quantity and if someone is able to finish a project within a short deadline, another would need a longer deadline, but the results depends on the quality and devotion each one of them gave to the project. So I disagree when someone in the video says that 10 000 Hours are mandatory. It's just not quantifiale. Ofc hard work is just crucial and essential, we cannot move a rock if we don't move, but time have nothing to do with hardwork. Some work really hard and accomplish outstanding things within a short period of time, and others work really hard and accomplish outstanding things within long periods of time, so time isn't important, it's the work itself and the quality of the work, no matter how much time it takes, that doesn't really matter, that's my point.
'hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.'
Me studying on how to study instead of studying 😢
Xd
The only reason he got to where he was was because of his Jewish privilege.
Fine focus priority on study I'll study 20 hours a dat

Stop watching UA-cam and study.
Excellent video! Really motivating!
I’ve spent 10,000 hours on social media .. I tho k I am an expert by now
🐐
Study hard simple just essential part
I disagree. I think there are people who have an intuitive sense that leads them to hidden truths if the listen and follow it. Nikola Tesla is one of these.
I’ve studied hard giving my hundred percent only once and that was one day before my social science exam i studied 18 hours straight with no breaks and i did it because i knew i was going to fail that exam. I can happily say i got 74/80
me as a 16 year old and struggling cuz of chemistry, physics and bio
Actually are 2:00 AM in my country and I am here watching this video. I understand few things about the video, bc my english sucks. But I try improve my english skills and my knowledge in what i study to be a great teacher when finish my degree. And hope that this video give me the motivation for keep the work that i had start. I wish for everyone of you can achieve your dreams and aims :3
I hope after watching this video our Indian toppers could learn a thing or two and not to mislead young generation by telling them that they only studied 3 hrs a day or studied 1 month before exam or a night before exam. These kind of toppers are the real evil of our society

stay hard study hard live hard guys its fun
Not comparing to others is not easy. I often watch educational videos, people creating radios, microphones and stuff. I was happy when I managed to solder a 0.5$ microphone to an old jack and I thought I am smart. Then I look at these projects at youtube, where I don't understand a shit and I just get depressed and sad at once. Yeah I try to keep learning but I feel like I will never be as smart.
This all motivating except if you live in a non meritocrathic country.
Most people working 5 days a week are not doing something they the real care for. Working less for them with the same ability in life(same pay) means they have more time to pursue their interests and do exactly what this video is all about. That guy is either severely out of touch or just a riding the business/hustle bro grift. EDIT: well what do you fucking know, he's a billionaire and a co-founder of Instagram. Who could of guessed

This video asks the wrong question. If your goals don't align you wont be able to be obsessed with something. You wont be able to do something at a high level that you don't enjoy. Question your goals first.
There is one part of this equation that he's not considering. Learning mathematics is like learning music or singing. To put it bluntly, if you're tone deaf, you will NEVER become a decent singer, let alone a good one. I've been a professional golfer for 40 years. There is no way even 100,000 hours is going to improve people who have no aptitude to get beyond a certain level. That is why less than 1% of people who play golf can play even par or cut that % in half to reach professional level. HARD WORK IS NOT ENOUGH. many skills are mentally beyond most people. I can confirm that single digit handicap golf is far beyond almost everyone.
Clickbait😂
mentioning sources of all the clips would be good :)
😩😩😩great
what's the name of the last speaker here ? Can anyone please post it here. Thanks
It needs to be hard, yes, but the length and the girth of it matter too.
After Feynman everything is complete BULLSHIT
