Just a nobody who likes Mudvayne
Mudvayne - Pharmaecopia Guitar Cover
.
Drop D because I'm too cheap to restring my guitar
The polyrhythmic groove around 4:03 kept messing with me but still a fun song to play

My first distortion pedal! Sounds way better than my cheap ass 80€ solid-state amp. Sorry for bad sound, quick recording with my Ipad I'll get an audio interface next and then we'll get some juicy Mudvayne

I'm currently working on this song. Maybe Severed or Internal Primates Forever next.

Mudvayne LD. 50 Bass If only real isolated tracks existed, I would give my soul for those. Cover. Drums programmed with Studio One. Bass by me. Recorded with t.bone USB 1G(don't laugh, I'm poor xD), Gallien Krueger Backline 115 and Ibanez Soundgear.
I need the full version
im here in 2024
How many others understand this is not Ryan playing bass, and this isn't their drummer either.
mark off the day
Bro the POP on the artificial drums is weirdly good😭
I love this song
Was looking (praying?) for isolated LD50 multitracks, but hey ho :) Nice work man nonetheless. LD50 still sounds amazing 22 years later. God bless Andy Wallace and GGGarth!!
Beautifully done
Dude can you get dig bass and drums only
Hello, thanks for doing this. i would like to use this as a backing track for my cover if thats okay? thanks!
Good mixing! I like the guitar part being louder like this.
What Ibanez Soundgear bass are you using, holy hell
dave
Finally isolated Ryan or close enough got he was brilliant
Poor or not, this still rips. If you covered the entire album I'd buy your tracks
Guys don’t be fooled this is shit and not the original artists rofl. There is no popping or slapping in this someone is just finger playing rofl so sad.
Ngl this sounds like a good ring tone
But what part? There's too many great areas to choose from! Haha
@@fishnchips13 I took the first part for around 30 secs idk about you tho
@@landerhoerr7661 I'd probably choose the really funk bass part at like 1:35 and beyond lol there's really so many other parts that I like though. It's tough
A brbr deng tone.
Considering the fact that Ryan typical sound comes both from his hands and his Warwick Thumb, you did an amazing job with you gear, which is theoretically very distant in terms of timber from his. Excellent work, greetings from Italy
fuck yea dude. l.d. 50 is a one of a kind album. nice work
Nice...nu-metal awesome
This is a cover. Not ryan
very nice!! love those pickups btw!!
I like this lead guitar.
It wouldn epic if we can hear more tracks from this album. Good job.
I just listen to a different bass tracks ,have to say this one is my favourite .
Make more
As a bassist that loves heavy music, i really appreciated that you did this! Learning jazz n funk tunes was the only shit I could really jam out on besides anomalies like Ryan's technical riffs. He was definitely an inspiration in my writing style! Cheers sir!
Where's the full video man
I have to say that this one is probably not the original recording... the punchy overdrive of Martinie's Warwick as it sounds on the CD recording doesn't sound like this one sadly... are you just posting a cover version? because not even the drums sound like Matt's either.... plus the tempo is off from the studio recording
Read the description. Tempo is exactly like the studio version, because I measured it. You're also probably my first dislike yay
@@Dave-or6mj You should put (bass and drums cover) in the title to avoid confusion.
Nice Work Guy
Speed 1,25
i'm impressed. i initially didnt realize the bass was re-done. the drums do sound artificial as hell but the bass is very solid, even the tone is pretty close to martinie's tone. very little quality loss and being dirt poor myself i know limitations in recording and respect the difficulty... props.
Thanks. I love Ryan's growly bass tone on LD.50. Lots of compression and high-mids.
Ryan Martinie is like the Les Claypool of nu metal.
@@phoenixpruett2097 4 years later, but you are absolutely correct
I really enjoy your videos! Keep it up please. :)
Awesome. What program did you use for the drums?
I used Presonus Studio One , but i had to use a lot compression and eq to make it sound decent
Any plans for more L.D. 50 or TEOATTC covers? I've tried my best to isolate the tracks from those albums but the bass has never been completely isolated, and Prod needs a decent bass cover out there. How long have you been playing bass?
hmm... working on Negative One and Internal Primates Forever, but I still gotta figure out some parts, especially the drums on internal primates(since I'm no drummer it's kinda hard xD). Maybe if I get myself a guitar and a decent recording interface I'll do all the LD 50 songs xD; TEOATTC is a bit tricky since the mixing makes it hard to hear what Ryan is playing regarding his right hand technique(i.e. chorus from Mercy, Severity).
Have been bass playing for 11 years
Nice, glad you have plans for more songs, this is the kind of content I love seeing. I just started playing bass last summer with zero music experience and it's been rough, it'll be a while before I can play any of these songs. As for Mercy, Severity - I have some live footage with the guitar removed that may be of some help, I'll post it on vidme since they're less sticklers about copyrighted content vid.me/R85Y. The sound is awful unless you play in HD though.
