My toxic trait it that I truly believe that we’ll get a season 2 someday. There’s plenty of content left in the still updating manga. It can happen.. right?… right?? My only argument is that whatever Hori and Kashima have going on is at least somewhat romantic (in a weird roundabout way). Especially referencing a later chapter in the manga where Hori helps Kashima get all decked out in a more feminine look just for funsies. Afterwards he has a bit of a crisis and says that he had always seen Kashima’s face as the ideal man (hence her always being the prince role) but he’s realizing that she might also be the face of his ideal woman?! Anyways, however you view their crazy dynamic, it’s at least very entertaining lol

i love how gsnk uses misunderstandings as one of its main comedy devices. not just as a one-off gag, these misunderstandings have been going on for YEARS, and they only seem to get more and more complicated and convoluted in the best way possible. these misunderstandings vary in length and sometimes even create more mini-misunderstandings when you involve even more characters into the mix, further amplifying the ridiculousness and further straying from the actual truth. the longer they go on, the more rewarding and hilarious it is when the truth is finally revealed, and it's even funnier after re-reading a couple of times and noticing how far the misunderstandings went before they finally got resolved. minor spoilers but i especially found the lorelei-seo reveal and the assistants gradually revealing their identities to each other incredibly funny ahh i could talk so much about gsnk i wish this series was so much more populat than it is now, it feels like it's ending soon since the main gags are being resolved one by one 🥲 gsnk is truly a gem

I got 5 minutes into the video and then immediately went and binge-watched all the episodes... I loved it and all the different personalities of the characters!

can we talk about the episode about nozaki and mikoshiba playing a dating game, ending up disappointed in all the girls, and then drawing an entire doujinshi about the mc and his best friend falling in love? i cant with this anime also mikorin is babygirl

It has the 3 couples thing going on that I love that I usually see in very specific romance settings, but it really works here in this particular comedy as well; yes this series definitely loves to throw curve balls at you! The couples are all hetero romances...but not quintessential ones The main couple is made of a guy as the main love interest chased by a girl who really loves him...but this guy only sees her as an assistant to his manga and he is definitely within the aroace spectrum (the main couple even has that one love interest rival thing thrown in...except the love interest is a guy with a maiden's heart who has no interest in the main guy in that way at all!) The other two romances have females as tops in the relationships; the first being a top bullies bottom with teasing type of relationship, and the other being a woman with the heart of a prince type character (who looks and acts like the quintessential pretty boy love interest) and the guy who loves to hates to love her. It is an excellent read/watch that is full of comedy and is quite heartfelt to the core.

nozaki-kun is the perfect anime if you need a pick me up. i was feeling depressed a while back and looked for a short anime to distract me and i left nozaki-kun having laughed so hard i cried.

Nozaki kun is one of my all time favorites its takes a permanent slot in my instant recommendations up there with FMA:B. I think any anime enjoyer needs to watch it

YES. saiki k is a parody of anime tropes and its so popular but i feel like monthly girls nozaki kun does the SAME THING with romance tropes but the anime is SO UNDERRATED. it's just as good as saiki k yet gets no attention 😞

Hello, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun fans! Slight spoiler, but here as a friendly reminder, that after years of following the manga, it was Seo and Waka that got the first relationship payoff lol This story will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved every single character. So many lines and moments never fail to get a laugh or a smile from me. Even though it's been ten years since the first season, knowing there's still fans out there and the story continues to draw new fans in, gives me hope for a season two someday.

I'm super thankful to this video because I found this when this vid 4 days after it was uploaded, and it made me binge-watch the whole anime in one sitting. I'm still very much obsessed with them right now, and is reading the manga lol. They hit every joke perfectly and the couples had the enough chemistry. It even made me watch Ouran in hopes of getting the same vibe lmao Now, though they each have their irreplicable charm, I'm both addicted to them especially Mikoshiba and Tamaki 😂😂. I truly wish they made a 2nd season for GSNK because even if the manga is funny, the anime just takes it next level with the pacing, voice acting and music. Speaking of, the OP freakin' slaps! Thank you for introducing me to this anime!
