How expensive is it to buy a farm even a small farm in Puerto Rico?

Arecibo is where I was born and raised, retiring in two years living in Florida for the last 24 years, who knows I might go back and retire there.

Curious, are you working construction or investments in the states and decided to move to Puerto Rico and pursue the same line of work.?

After graduating & obtaining my nursing license moved to my Grandparents farm in Lares 1987. At every turn I was asked which parent was Rican. Follow up was being informed how difficult it was to find a job. Even got resistance from P.R. Professional Licensing on transfering my license. Ended up leaving when my money ran out. I wasnt prepared for the push back because I was a half breed.

Great for you guys. You bought a great property. It’s so beautiful. Enjoy paradise. You are starting raising a family and that the right place. There is not another place better than Puerto Rico. Good luck . If others can progress in P.R you can do it too. I have been in the USA for 35 years and I still looking for retirement in Puerto Rico. Thank for share that beautiful paradise .❤❤❤

Great Job! looks so much bigger. Im planning on redoing my kitchen but do it in poured in concrete since I live in the Campo and want something durable. Love seeing the process.

You crushed it for your budget. Good job as always man. Also, as for the water thing for the floating laminate floors. You can put a Vapor barrier layer under the planks to prevent moisture getting in or coming up through the concrete slab underneath. Not sure how great it would work on the island, but I did it with one of my properties in Miami and it worked great.

Im trying to ge tmy husband and 4 children to p.r he is from fajardo puerto Rico. His family is there, and we would love to move out there. (I dont know spanish lol) but i want to learn . And what better way to learn than throw yourself out there!! ❤ but with no money and no cresit that's hard to do.. i do have section 8 so i could port it over there, but idk how to look for section 8 homes out there, and im not familiar with all the neighborhoods :/ any info would be great! I'm looking to go ASAP! Self-sufficiency and land are the ultimate goals, but we need to get our feet out there first.
