Very Disco - A Daft Punk Inspired Prog Metal Song
This song was inspired by Daft Punk - Veridis Quo, and is a great example of Quentin Sauvetre's amazing compositional style. It was done with the GGD Fairview Kit, STL Tone Hub (John Browne Pack), and Logic 11.

I decided to take as song (Nothing for Free) from one of my all-time favorite bands (Pendulum) and make it a heavier and modern metal song. I understand the guitarist of Pendulum uses Hughes & Kettner amps so he is for sure in the know!

To date, I have to say this was one of my most challenging songs to re-create. Listening to it you think, seems simple. As you dig into the guitar, key, pads and beyond, the story gets more complex. Looks great! Whats the advantage of this vs using a pick?
To me, either V1 or V2 just makes it easier for me vs slotting the pick each turn.. personally, my wrist gets tired when using a pick.. but if the pick works best for you, that is great.
My huge issue is I use very light picks and that aren't rigid enough for tuning.
@@Galius7 yep I can see that. This indeed would help. I’m working on a new v3 concept as well that may be better than V1 for live setting. V2 is excellent for a studio environment and guitar tech
