Read shutter and listened on audio. Loved it. Especially on audio😊
I loved this book. I am a fan of Hitchock movies (esp. Psycho) and his tv series, so this was such a great book for me. Thanks Stephanie for writing this book.
So excited for this new book! I loved Shutter 🤍
(I would ask you to write another book about Feste, but alas I'm not a publisher.)
DELIGHTED to hear this series is continuing! Hurray!
Stone wants who he wants, he loved his wife (Arrington) and loves Holly. I do like the way Brett is toning the sexcapeds down but the clearly unprotected sex bothered me. I’ve read all of the books (Will Lee, Stone Barrington, Ed Eagle, Holly Barker, Rick Barron and Teddy Fay. Great Book. The team needs to evolve. I stumbled upon Stuart Woods earlier this year, as a truck driver, I listen to audio books. I’m hooked.
Meyer was my screenwriing instructor at Sherwood Oaks Experimental College arou d 1980. I remember him talking about writing Black Orchid and the city of Manaus in Brazil. Although he'd never been there, he seems to have accurately desribe that city, so much so that those who lived there confirmed.
such a thorough interview with a writer who has concise answers!
RIP nelson
dear nice book Steve Urszenyi discusses Perfect Shot video.. have a nice day. good work.
Wow❤❤
I found Baldacci books by accident, because of an icy snow blowing mishap a couple decades ago. The nerve damage in my face was relatively small, but in a very bad place, it prohibited reading or wearing glasses, even with the medication used in cases of Trigeminal damage, so, the library had books on tape. Not only did they not have much plot information on the case, i could not read it, ori would suffer the painful consequences. Needless to say, i gobbled up every one of his available books, along with all the other books on tape i could find, for about 7 years while my body did its healing thing. (I recently found your Memory Man series, which i found fascinating. I suffered no such side effects, thankfully, but the idea and how he coped made him a very compelling character. But then, his characters are. All this is to say thank you for your stories and the quality of your work. I am still an avid reader, from a mother who also was, and so are my kids, and their kids too. And by the way, after listening to this, will be adding another author to my list to read, Mr Winslow. Thanks Ms Peters.
Will the 31st book of the stephanie plum series be the last?
Love all the RBP characters. Can’t wait to read this Sunny book. Gotta admit, though, I prefer to see her with Jesse rather than Ritchie.
Thank you both for giving us this wonderful conversation. Love all your books: you are a marvellous storyteller.
This book seems to be heavily inspired by a Puerto Rican author, Xavier Navarro and his novel Velorio which came out in 2022 from Harpervia, Harper Collins. There are many Puerto Rican writer publishing regularly in and out of Puerto Rico. I think the comment about a micro scene in poetry and “maybe 2 books a year” in fiction is incorrect and very disappointing and offensive coming from a professor. Give respect and credit where it’s due: Marta Aponte(crime fiction), Mayra Santos Febres, Luis Otoniel (crime fiction), Rosa Rodriguez, Luis Negron, Josue Montijo (crime fiction), Xavier Navarro and many others that deserve credit. Please be mindful of putting comments out there that do a disservice to our community and diminishes all the hard work they have done.
What a lovely interview!
Dude lost his fastball about twenty years ago. He needs to grab the golf clubs and retire. 😂
the scenes between Flavia and Dogger touch my heart.
Why is there audio for the first 2mins but you can't see mike and barbara. This is the 2nd video this has happened too
A little late to the Zoom but so glad that I'm able to see it now. So happy that there is another Flavia due out, I've missed her! My husband is from Malta and I'm hoping to visit the Isle of Man next year when visiting family. One day, I may show up to the Poisoned Pen Bookstore too :)
These two are great. Lots of interviews with them in the last wee or so.
She is my absolute favorite! I can’t get enough of her books. 🙌🥰🙌
love book
Great interview. Thank you!
Hey admin, I loved the covers of P. J Tracy's city of secrets, is there anyway, I can connect with that designer?
Great interview! Thank you so much!!
Can this novel be read as a standalone?
More or less
except chapter 18
Try putting a pebble in your shoe or wrap a pressure bandage around a knee; it will alter your gait just enough to trick the system into not identifying you. Faking it prop-less requires too much concentration and that creates unusual behavior enough to get flagged.
I like it. Great tip.
Great interview, Brian is the best author on the scene!!
Thanks so much. Brian is an amazing writer. Couldn't agree more.
Love book
Beautiful
Nice Book
Favorite authors of all time Preston & Child!!! I read every book.
I hope the Networks or appletv picks up this great series
So excited for Fire & Bones!!!!
I am reading this book and it is a real page burner. Thrilling action throughout! I read all of Brad's books and this is incredibly well done! Great research too.
Your story lines and the amount of detail you go into is amazing. I love your books and have read them all. Thank you for the hours of enjoyment they have given me.
i HAVE A GOOD STORY FOR YOU.
Thank you for posting this! I had the privilege to hear Gabe speak at SiWC a couple of years ago so this was a great video to stumble across. His comment about how we don't have to spend our attention on authors who don't deserve it, when we don't even have enough time to read all of the good authors, was such a refreshing reality check. Honestly, the whole interview was wonderful.
Buried the lead…let’s go Paramount Plus!!!! I will work for free on the writing team. We need to get this show at least through the Helen trilogy.
Thank you for hosting these guys. For audiobooks, I kinda agree with Doug's wife, the reader can make or break a book.
Miss Barbara needs to learn how to pronounce Pendergast's name correctly.
I have loved all of his books they're amazing but I'm sorry, and I'm very disappointed this is Lefty nonsense, most slave labour has stopped over here definatly barely any car wash slave labour left its been stopped because people have reported them, there's been campaigns to end it, this book would have you believe that the whole of the uk is riddled with it! 😮 Yes it was rife but not any more.
Too sympathetic to migrant without true knowledge.
The two of you have provided me with hours of enjoyment. Please keep it up and stay safe out there. ❤️📚💚
Interessante, mi sembra si capire che nel prossimo romanzo si partirà’ dalle origini…
I would just like to thank you both for all the hours of entertainment your worlds have given me through the years many I have gone back to read several times. Also Barbara thank you for all the interesting interviews you do, you always ask the questions I would ask the authors you have introduced me to over the years.
Ms. Newman is hot and funny. Not the old lady know it all.
I can’t wait to read the new book! AND, I’m excited to hear that there WILL be a conclusion to the Jake Ransom series! (At least that’s what I think I heard!)
