Agree! Im the 31th prisoner in NA/EU right now ( tomorrow badges change so im going to be like 45th ) and i dont use the 48% transmission at the begging of the match, since it’s really important to decode the 3 first ciphers as fast as u can. Usually the first kite is around 3 ciphers ( 80-120 s kite) Also, when u use the 48% transmission u lose some decoding progress, thats why it isn’t the best option to used before the first kite ends. The transmission progress is really useful with the 2 last ciphers tho! I case the first kite isnt long enough, then i use the transmission progress to help the rescuer finish his cipher fast, that way he can go rescue as fast as possible. ( but usually in griffin,if the first kite isnt at least 60s long, no one saves after half to focus on decoding)

@ OMG, im glad it helped you 😭 Im feeling nostalgic, I cant believe I wrote that 4 years ago. I don’t play idv that much anymore, but I hold Luca close to my heart since he was my first main and my first s badge <3 I ended up getting to champion a couple of times but I have been playing just casually this past year. ANYWAYS, about your question. The only situation that comes to my head rn where I would recommend using a lower transmission % in this situation: -You just connected the ciphers, but lets say the other cipher’s progress is above 70%. If it is still early game, or not the final cipher, I would recommend using a lower transmission %. The reason being that if you finish the other cipher way too quick, your ability may still be on cold down after finishing the other cipher, meaning you will be decoding without the 10% decoding buff and wont be able to connect a different cipher since the ability is on cold down. The cold down is 30s (I think it was more time before tbh) So its not like its immediately bad to not do this, the difference is not thaaat much, but I think those extra couple seconds with the 10%decoding buff can be like super crucial in some matches. Hoped this helped! :D Not really a rank player anymore but hopefully its useful info (￣^￣)ゞ

If ur opening a gate then the hunter is near you, you cant move the knob

Luca has self defense which is electrocute, you can get that when you touch a cipher then some electricity will come out so stay there to generate electrocute, You can also decode both exit gate by adjusting the knob to open the other door quickly

Once you decode or touch a cipher, there will be electricity spreading around of your cipher. You can get electricity by staying on you cipher u touched and there's an electricity bar once you enter it
