It really has nothing to do with your weight. I’m a big dude (almost 220 lbs), and you can’t hear me when I walk. My mom taught me to walk gracefully and I’ve taught myself over the years to be deliberate when I move. Dude above me couldn’t weight more than 160lbs, and he sounds like a freakin elephant. I know he has to be striking with his heels and I know he’s going to have knee problems when he’s older. Also dude never sits down! It’s infuriating to listen to this all of the time. Learn how to walk!

Weight has nothing to do with it! Your building is cheaply built with thin walls and crappy floors. My neighbors are normal size and walk like Godzilla. I can hear neighbors downstairs and next door. Also use bathroom and in hallway through crappy walls. Many overweight people live on top floor and walk normal. Who wants people walking above their head all night? Next time get a top floor unit or buy a house when u can afford and that solves your problem aye? Apartments suck!
