I've been missing Mac a lot lately, especially when I think of his friends and family whose pain must still be so raw. It's hard for me to listen to his music at times because I'm overcome by how sad it is we won't hear him perform live again or hear an album he worked on from start to finish. This mix is the perfect in-between. I hear your original spin layered over his calming voice & lyrics. Thank you.

Almost 2025... One day time stands still, the rest of the month disappears in a second. If some of his songs were playing, time wouldn't matter. I'd be lost in the rhythm, letting it carry me. Every beat, every lyric, it's like he's right here, still alive in the music. But then that thought hits me... I'll never get to see him live. And that’s a pain you can’t quite shake, no matter how many times you hit play. But somehow, when people keep remixing his stuff, it feels like he’s not gone... just a little more hidden, waiting for the next sound to bring him back to life.
