Thriving in The Word
United States
Приєднався 2 бер 2023
At Thriving in The Word we believe in a slower study of scripture. Sure you can cook a steak in the microwave, but would you want to eat it. It’s much better slow cooked, and that’s how we take our Bible study. We study the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, and at times even word by word.

Amen . Con luôn luôn tin tưởng vào cha . Con cầu xin cha hãy giúp đỡ chúng con. Con yêu cha giê su.
John gospel is the first book to read out off it all For a person to saved period If one starts at genesis a person might not realise for a long time it was Christ in the garden it was Christ who performed the first sacrifice for Adam’s Sin the clothes them with the skins For them to realise that only through the shedding of innocence blood is there remission of sins that it’s never your performance for to be saved or stay saved it’s all Christ it’s all his perfect finished work for all mankind
John for me would be the book to begin with. Its the Genesis of the New Testament.
Christian music so fucking gay.

Sad to see when my Christian brothers or sisters take scripture out of context. Jesus didn't hang out with all types of sinners. He hung out with humble sinners who knew they needed to change. People inside a gay bar, or diddy's mansion are far far more likely that not to be indulging into their flesh at that moment, not humbly rejecting their desires to seek a savior. Though I could see preaching outside of a bar type event for the people about to enter. So through prayer and preaching, conviction might hit them before they give in and go into the place.
Don’t care about what other people think let god tell you what to do and trust in him
Jesus would not go to a gay bar or a club. But the gays and club hoppers would be drawn to him and he would save all those the Father gave him.
I am the king of kings and the Lord of lords and the God of all gods of this world you better not forget that
You better not be talking about yourself
U better mean the person we know
Johnny is always dropping those spiritual bombs!!!
Lions roar ❤

Reminds me of Romans 2:5-11. When it was "popular" to respect God in school by praying in the classroom, when most people went to church on Sunday, and it was the law of the land to close businesses on Sunday and not patronize businesses (especially restaraunts) who stayed open on Sunday to respect the Sabbath, God blessed America. When we quit honoring God and began to remove every vestage of Christianity we could from school, government, and began to disrespect the Sabbath ... like has happened since the beginning of COVID .. its pretty obvious were being punished.
Amen 🙏 🙏

"Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." Romans 8:26

Oh wow. I've never known that. Thanks for the information friend. 👍❤.
Salt in those days was so valuable. It was stockpiled by some countries like gold. So, salt is wealth. Salt in its pure state is white, symbolizing goodness. So, salt represents goodness. Salt has cleavage that causes it to break into perfect cubes. It's foursquare like the Most Holy Place. The angles of its crystals are 90⁰, meaning they are right angles. It symbolizes righteousness. Salt is used as a preservative. It has saving power. Salt makes food taste good. It gives flavor. Salt is an electrolyte. It is necessary for life. Without it, you can do nothing. Ye are the SALT of the earth...
