Interesting. I see little issue with this. Even if the vertical rudder wasn't preventing lateral rotation in theory the thrusters could exert some force in that regards. The rudder also exerts enough forward thrust for that tiny build to propel itself forwards once the upward thrusters lift the orientation of the bot into incline. So I'll give it a pass. Thanks for sharing!
@ATMicro Last Yes, the aerofoils have their own propelling force. This is often seen as a negative but it definitely has its benefits. ^_^

Lol I ran into this idiot today. CHW4001 using EMP and stealth like a coward. Would only fight if he could get you with the EMP and stealth up on you. Called him on his cowardice and he got BIG mad. Blocked him before his whispers could start.

@@haudiweg I was referring to your student, but sure, there is always room for improvement. Create a checklist of specific skills you want to teach. Build that list based on: - Each weapon - Any module - The movement parts - The full bot (things particular to the build type - including its approach to different game modes) This was fine though.

The differences in aim when switching between scope and regular fire mode can certainly be annoying. It is surprising how many players seem to be unaware that their ghosted bots remain somewhat visible - especially in mist/fog/storm conditions.

How to improve this video? Well I enjoyed watching it but ways to improve include: - More pre-planning - Have a note-pad and jot down what you want to cover (example - 1 - Shooting in Fog, 2 -Shooting at Ghost. 3 - Differences between scope aim and non-scope aim with rail.) - A better video title - and time-stamped description (example - 1:55 Shooting at Ghost). Including "Robocraft" in the title helps it get seen by non-subscribers. - Maybe a more catchy thumbnail. ... - Adding music in post production (not too loud as it will compete with your voice - although you could replace or augment voice with key text). - Cutting your clips in an editing program to shorten periods where there is not much going on. ... Most of the above involve increased effort so always be sure of how much effort you want to put into any video. ^_^

Thanks for posting a full vid. While air-railing bloom can certainly seem suspicious at times, it seems to be working as intended. I did not notice anything amiss with your recording. Now if it's possible to record a match without also recording overlay information I genuinely do not know - but since I do not know... Nice shootin' Tex.
In rc there is key to make overlays go away but i want to see them
@@haudiweg The '=' key. I was referring to any aimbot like overlays. I am aware that OBS allows players to choose a source from which to feed into videos - but much in the same way that a streamer's camera on-screen wouldn't show for that player while playing (I am guessing - I don't actually have a (functioning) camera) I am guessing that it might be possible to not include any third party overlays in recordings. To be clear, I am 'not' saying that you were aim-botting.

To be fair, that name coupled with a flying rail bot can inspire sidelong glances. I know that I sometimes stare long and hard at rail players with 'very' good aim in normal circumstances, let alone while firing those rails in flight.

This player clearly wanted the match to be over ASAP... and sabotaged his team's chances. Sure the odds were steeply against them from before the match began - but yielding 7 deaths with afking is just cringe.
